Even if Mourinho comes in they're going to need to completely revamp nearly the entire squad. Especially to play Mou's tactics.

DDG is almost guaranteed to leave as well.

Worst thing that can happen to us is Utd get a new manager. That only chance they have of catching top 4

Generally agreeing that they've blown top four. Here's some posts:

Lowest point in a couple of long years filled with low points.
Let's not panic; we should still finish ahead of Sunderland so it's all good.
Slowest bunch on this side of equator.
Played for a point. The ref made sure we weren't going to win that.
Just got beaten by one of the worse teams in the league, LVG shouldn't deserve to survive after this but we all know he will. Utter shambles of a football club we are.
We were laughing at Liverpool for getting a draw with them, but the joke is on us.
Just seen on twitter. 11 points in 8 games against the current bottom 5 teams.
Being beaten by Big Sam is a sackable offence.
I felt physalically sick as the clock ticked away when we were 2-1 down. Absolutely gut wrenching feeling.
It could've been 4-1 to them if not for De Gea's saves.
Sunderland have had more shots today than in any other of their games this season. Wow.
Wayne taking the press conference, not finishing off chances.. what fecking chances??
Sunderland's maybe :D
This should have been piss easy 3 points. Instead we get dominated by the worst side in the league. Now we've dropped 13 points to the likes of Bournemouth, Norwich, Sunderland and Newcastle United combined. feck this season.
Yeah I'm not really sure what Schneiderlin, gives us really. Doesn't tackle, can't run, not a great passer, rarely gets in the box. He's hardly mentioned in commentary. No wonder Van Gaal opts for Fellaini. At least he tries not to be shit.

OK, so we're officially a 5th to 8th kind of team. We're the new Tottenham!
What!

Worse! We're Liverpool!!! Wrap your heads around that... That's more like it :)

How dare you

The best bit about United's slump in the last few years is the fact that every supporter under 35 years of age, can't remember what it's like to support a team that doesn't nearly always win.

My Utd mates just CANNOT handle it. They don't understand it, can't fathom it, they watch their results unfolding with dumbstrucken faces. Imagine if you will what it must have been like watching your Milan team 3-0 up in the Champions League final being pegged steadily back over a half of football. Now take that half of football and stretch it out over 3 years.

It's beautiful. Completely, utterly beautiful. It's slowly dawning on them that they aren't what they once were, but there's still plenty of yucks for all the rest of us to enjoy. A West Ham at home draw here, an away defeat to Sunderland there with the odd 0-0 at Carrow Road thrown into the mix, I think everyone can agree, it's a great time to be an ABU.

Agree. some of the posters are saying it's the worst points total in league history completely oblivious to the fact Docherty took them down in 74 to the second division. I guess they don't realise there was a league before 1992. Clueless glory hunters.

Dier is better. Dembele is also better.
Certainly true this season. But Southampton Schneiderlin was the best CM in the league. If we want to push on in all competitions next season then options are what it's all about.

We don't need him, we'very coped so far with our current midfield options.

Not that there is a chance of it happening anyway.

I think other fans know more about United's history than most Man Utd fans. Would most even know that Ron Atkinson was United Manager before Ferguson?
