But their job is to ask what went wrong/ right; about the tactics, the players fitness etc... not whether 1 call ruined their season 7 or 8 times until the guy gets annoyed and rants.
I'd seriously give short thrift to any such interviewer
His question to Mourinho was (paraphrasing):
"What in particular do you think the ref should have pulled them up on..."
Which is a perfectly valid question. As my previous post in this thread stated, I struggled to find any decisions in the closing stages of the game which went against United.
As mentioned, these managers bring it on themselves. If they wanted act so 'billy big bollocks' then they have to deal with the consequences. They know they're obliged to give these interviews, so maybe if they gave a straight answer when they're asked a question first time round they wouldn't be repeatedly asked the same questions.
And please don't state that if they give a straight answer they will get a ban, because that's also bullocks. There are many ways of phrasing things to make sure you're not pinning the blame to an official.
