Now, with Bale possibly gone to Real Madrid, we need to use the money in a clever way. Simply on exciting players.
Let's splash some cash in some european leagues.

First of all: What do we need?If not Coentrao is included in the Bale transfer, we need another left back.
I also think we need a long term central defender.
We have bought a left winger in Necer Chadli, but need another one.
As cover for Lennon on the right we have Andros Townsend, who has been progressing well. Good to see, but we will need some more pace here.
Central midfield looks better than ever, which includes Sandro, Paulinho, Dembele, Capoue. Another one wouldn't harm.
Right back is a position I think we need more cover. Walker is very good, but I don't trust Naughton that much.
Strikers: We have Soldado - Defoe and Adebayor are probably on their way out.

Suggestions:

Central defender: Mamadou Sakho, Kurt Zouma

Left back: Geoffrey Kondogbia, Samuel Umtiti, Gaëtan Bong

Right back: Lamine Gassama

Central midfielder/attacking: Georginio Wijnaldum

Strikers/forwards/wingers: Jackson Martinez, Eder Antonio Marcedo Lopes, Lacina Traore, Henri Saivet, Alexandre Lacazette, Doumbia (Three more added, as I didn't have that much time when I wrote this). I would be happy with any of these players.

lol to be fair hes never referred to any of his suggested players as great or top class, simply exciting, which is of course a word that can be construed in either a positive or negative manner.

e.g. "wow! that player messi sure is exciting"

or

"wow! that carragher own goal sure is exciting"

It seems as if the CB will be Chiriches. Wasn't there ITK on Daley Blind from Ajax? He's a LB. Don't know how good he is. Chiriches and a LB sort out the defense.

We need to wrap up Lamela. Then we need a No. 10. If that doesn't happen. Give the finger to Madrid and pull the plug. If Ade/Defoe are sold we need a striker.

So we are looking at 4 players possibly coming in. Plus the remaining players yet to be sold. Gomes, BAE, Sigurdsson if a No. 10 is signed. Busy week ahead.
