Ah ok, sorry, I read it as you suggesting them as targets and I was hoping you had a way to make me feel more positive ?
Lol I wish. It seems more likely we'll get another cheap 2nd keeper option and be forced to play Lloris always and be shitting it if he gets injured.

There's no way we'd sign all 3 of those free transfers, but I'd hope we'd try hard for Bale plus one of Kessie/Modric.

RWB, LWB, CB/LCB are the positions I'd like to know who's gonna be actively available and options for us to persue.

This in-the-know idea that we were better off waiting to make signings, ignored the fact we were in an unusual position where the Champions League was in our grasp, when we were desperate for more quality in key positions. Anyone who knows a little about football could see that.

Alas, it’s just more of the same from the club management and I think most of us don’t buy it.

We are going to need all the loans to pan out and then get em sold. Sacrifice Gil, too, if he’s not in the plans, since he’ll get us a good chunk of money. Don’t care, just get funds in if Levy and ENIC can’t pull any from the couch.

Top 4 was there for the taking, but we want to be patient and get free transfers in the summer.

The time to strike was now, being patient just gives time to Man Utd to sort themselves out and for Newcastle to build their inevitable powerhouse.

The never ending rebuild.

We need to improve the quality of our age group coaches to bring more players through the ranks. We cant just keep going into the transfer market to solve problems, it isnt working with our current owners who are not going anywhere any time soon.

So looking like the following needed in summer if we want to give Conte a squad that can win things next season :
IN’s:
RWB x2
CB x2
LWB x1
CM x1-2
AM x2
ST x1

About 9-10 players needed no joke.

Conte signed 10 in his first summer at Juve, we need something similar for him.

OUT’s:
Doherty
Emerson?
Sanchez
Tanganga
Rodon
Ndombele
Lo Celso
Winks
PEH?
Bergwijn
Gil?(loan at least)

We need defenders who can defend
We need actual quality wing backs who can get up and down and create a threat
We need midfielders who can get around the pitch and pass with quality and who can create
We need attacking midfielders who can create and score
We need another option up front to play with or instead of Kane when needed

We need some players who can excite us, it’s all very sideways backwards and slow and boring. Fans are bored and frustrated.

Massive massive summer.

A rebuild in the summer ? more bargain basement buys that we can’t get rid of more like, our recruitment is shocking.

It's crazy how ppl still believes the "next summer" line.

It's been the same story every summer and everytime we look unprepared for the season. I'd be very happy to be proven wrong, but I won't be surprised when club ITK's roll out reasons for why we fell short (again).

Lack of CL, hard to shift players or those dam greedy agents will be my top 3 picks when the excuse season start late in the window.

You just have to hope that because we have Paratici and Conte in place going into this summer and there is no pandemic that this summer could finally be the big painful rebuild getting majorly sorted.

Last summer we spend the whole time searching for a manager and brought in a new DofF very late in the day so impossible to plan many squad changes.

But IF next summer isn’t good then Conte will leave and we will be in a big big mess as will the owners as fans will have absolutely had enough.

Let’s hope next summer is the one finally.

Part of the problem is that we've often shifted out the wrong players and kept the wrong players.

I'd rather have Lamela, Gil, Lo Celso and Alderweireld than Sanchez, Rodon, Winks, Docherty and Bergwijn.

*Rodon I thought might be good but no manager seems to trust him.

Absolutely. I'd for Para and Levy to prove me wrong and have us in fantastic shape fpr next season.

It's crazy how people still act like we never spend money.

We were tight as fuck under Poch but we've spent almost 200m in the past couple of seasons.

This shit takes time and there will never be a summer where we fix eveything, but the issue isn't so much our lack of spending anymore, but rather our inability to buy the right players. - of our recent set only Romero and potentially Bentancur look like top 4 quality. Maybe Sarr, Kuli and Sarr in the future but will take time.

I fully expect us to invest loads this summer, we just need to pray we spend wisely.

Most certainly would not be selling Gil. I feel that would be like Chelsea selling Salah and KDB. Would be an incredible dumb move from us at this point IMO as he has massive potential. We need to sell Winks, Hoijberg, Davies, Doherty, Royal, Ndombele and probably Sanchez. That + whatever Levy can give us should give us more then enough to work with especially if we are targeting free transfers. Gil, Ben, Romero, Regi, possibly Sess, Sarr, Kulu and Scarlet are the future of Spurs and shouldn’t be touched.

doubtful we'll have European football let alone Champions League football. not much chance of attracting the quality we think we need.
