A positive influence in the squad, and good back up to Eriksen. If he can prove himself to be capable of more than that, all the better.

every squad needs a live wire joker and Lewis is ours...important for the team psyche
Yeah, Lewis is a good character, but he needs to stop being such a nice guy ON the pitch. He needs to become more ruthless and arrogant on the pitch, he's got the ability to back it up IMO.

He's many things but nice on the pitch he's not. He's picked up enough needless yellow cards by being a hot head at mostly unnecessary times...he's pretty much a dick on the pitch. Ok maybe a friendly dick.

A lot of it might be his eagerness to impress so I do expect him to settle down once he knows the manager's behind him this season - at least I hope that's the case.

Average player.

Can't have a squad of world class players I'm afraid. No-one is saying he is out best midfielder but he is young, he was cheap, he has talent and he is about as good a back up to Eriksen as we are going to get.

I meant in terms of showing that he is better than others in our squad, I didnt mean in terms of picking up fouls.

That's true. The Double team had a mixture of stars and no names.

He's got some good technique in his left foot

Has a great shot on him and puts in an excellent in-swinging free kick

If he can start imposing himself on games and allowing himself the ability to ultilise these talents on a regular basis he will be a good player for us

He perhaps needs a bit more body strength or just determination to be a star player for a team rather than just being part of a squad - I think he will grow into the role the more game time he gets and the more faith is shown in him

He's not lacking in ability but right now I think physically and perhaps mentally he needs to grow as a player and as a man before he can become the type of bright young talent Ramsey has become at Arsenal for example

Holtby reminds me of Jamie O'Hara, nice guy with plenty of heart but too slow and doesn't have enough talent to compensate for it.
I think we should sell him.
I know this opinion isn't going to go down too well with the gay community here but guys its only my opinion...........it doesn't matter that much.
Don't get your knickers in a twist.
