Surely the age is irrelevant if he can do a decent job for us? There were many on here during the summer pushing for the return of Berbatov who of course scored on his 32nd birthday last night.

Lopez is still significantly better than Negredo IMO.

Your reply doesn't make sense. The club should be looking to the future. We already moan about having 2 ageing strikers, now we're on about adding a 3rd.

If it's only a loan then fair enough.

i would someone who made a huge difference for us, like Rooney, Aguero or Tevez, this type of player, even Cavani.

finding top class talant need some time, like we did Lennon - Bale - Modric - Sandro - Lloris - Dembele.. but at this moment if we find good goalscorer or someone who can add competition for places would be good. I would love any addition to DM or pacy winger or Striker at this moment, we are short in these positions.

Adebayor is the target man, Lopez would be the (real) poacher and Defoe is what he is.

Yep he's quality, lovely skills, good vision, good intelligence and can play wide striker or narrow. He must be around 30 now but still has a lot to offer and is the kind of player that can carve chances against the very defensive teams we find we are facing more and more at WHL

We need to be careful tonight, but we should be able to win it. Alexandre Lacazette is exciting, and Gomis up front is also a very good player. Umtiti at left back is a very talented defender, and I also rate Fofana in midfield.

Their team as a whole is not really exciting.

This was what I wrote before the match started, and I am not saying Lopez is a bad player, but I didn't mention him as the main threat today.

Umtiti scored a fantastic goal. Gomis could have had a penalty and Lacazette almost scored. Fofana is not the typical goalscoring type of a midfield player, but did well.
