No he's not, SSN got itwrong. Yellow cards reset from the turn of the year.
So Lucas can play... Quite possibly a good thing
It is a good thing, Lucas is shocking, Jamie o'Hara is a better player imo!

Now this would need to be checked, but I know that before this season, a suspension for five yellow cards came into effect seven days after the booking was picked up. So he'd be able to play against us, but not next weekend.
They don't have an FA Cup game next weekend though. ;-) He'll miss the game against Wolves I think.
Previously, players collecting five yellow cards prior to the final day in February were subject to a one-match suspension. This will now only apply if a player reaches five yellow cards before 31 December. Sanctions for players accumulating 10 and 15 cautions remain in place as do their respective amnesty periods.
Furthermore, if a player does accumulate the permitted number of cautions prior to a cut-off date then the suspension will now be automatic as opposed to the current seven day rule.
As usual we'll take our eye off the ball and lose to Hull.
We should just concentrate on beating Hull, then worry about Liverpool once we have the 3 points secured.

Snap! I was just looking for this as well. I am all most certian that Huddlestone and Jenas were also on 4 yellow cards before being booked yesterday, would that mean that all three would miss the Liverpool game? Eeksorry if this has been discussed and put to bed already, but, is palacios now suspended for the liverpool game?
He picked up his 5th yellow yesterday
Thanks Chrissivad, I most have been typing my previous post when you posted this!
