Would definitely play Crouch. Liverpool looked all over the place defensively and in particular with crosses into the box. Reading only put 1 of 4 or 5 real chances away but Crouch should have a field day if they play like that.

Maxi will probably play. He's a good player. But i'm sure he'll need time to settle.

Hopefully we dont let the loss of Torres and Gerrard get to our heads though. They're still going to be tough, and we have a terrible record at Anfield.

reluctant to find joy in a great players injury. I know how i feel about Ledley so would never gloat or celebrate anothers injury especially a good guy like Torres. Obviously this imporves our chances on paper compared to if they'd tried harder to get the game on sunday BUT it also puts more pressure on us to get a result. The answer lies somewhere in the middle Cool. He's bound to do pretty well on his debut though. Even bad players seem to find something on their debuts.
