N'Gog

You've done it now. Reina will have a cracker and N'gog will grab a late winner against the run of play. And Keane will get the blame whether he plays or not. You heard it here first :-(

Would definitely play Crouch. Liverpool looked all over the place defensively and in particular with crosses into the box. Reading only put 1 of 4 or 5 real chances away but Crouch should have a field day if they play like that.

With their best two/three players out we need to take advantage, COYS don't let us down.

i know they seem vulnerable but they are still a good side. we can't afford to put out a weakened side IMO

Not to mention Johnson is still out. Not great defensively, but he's one of their biggest threats from the wing.

Maxi will probably play. He's a good player. But i'm sure he'll need time to settle.

Hopefully we dont let the loss of Torres and Gerrard get to our heads though. They're still going to be tough, and we have a terrible record at Anfield.

I actually like N'gog - wouldn't mind him on our payroll as a backup striker. Strong and quick, with time to develop.

We've got to be confident this time, and really play them off the park.

hmm i wouldn't get carried away, to quote luke somewhat, our over confidence is our weakness.

I would concentrate on Hull 1st since we couldn't beat or score against the mighty wolverhampton wanderers and Stoke city at home

Maxi Rodriguez will make an appearance I suspect but I hear A Madrid got rid as he's had a poor season anyway.

A little bit like Kun Aguero performances this season, I'm not sure if Maxi is poor because Atletico are poor or Atletico are poor because Maxi is poor

reluctant to find joy in a great players injury. I know how i feel about Ledley so would never gloat or celebrate anothers injury especially a good guy like Torres. Obviously this imporves our chances on paper compared to if they'd tried harder to get the game on sunday BUT it also puts more pressure on us to get a result. I still think we'll do well to get anything away.

The answer lies somewhere in the middle Cool. He's bound to do pretty well on his debut though. Even bad players seem to find something on their debuts.
