For me, that settles it. I see little to no way this team can win the league. A cup - yes. I think that's plausible. But the team is just not where it needs to be to become a PL winning side.

Yeah I agree. I think we can beat any team on our day, especially the top teams, and could've easily drawn or won tonight, but the way we play against the mid-table/bottom sides will catch up with us eventually.

I think we could win the league next season though.

So frustrated, would rather have lost 2 - 0 then that what has just happened, it seems to happen everytime we play them! its so frustrating, we miss chances and they get a late winner or dodgy penalty, when will this mentality change. I never felt we could win the league but it would have been nice to get the point.

You can't be deflated if you know it's coming. I said before I wasn't expecting anything from this game, but I still see it as a free hit. We have more important games to come than Liverpool away.
