People on here normally say it's Arsenal, I think.

It probably changes every time he's on air.

Didn’t realise how hard lamela had been kicked - scroll down for the vid https://cartilagefreecaptain.sbnati...penalty-lamela-jonathan-moss-pochettino-klopp

Reading some of the reports in the papers websites there are some really over the top claims re the pens. Both blatant.

Great video of the incident there. Initially I thought Lamela had played for it, but it was an awful kick.

As for the game, I think we can take an enormous amount of positivity from that, one nil down in three minutes against the best counter attacking team in the prem who can hit you on the break at will, we had to chase the game all afternoon and coped with it and grew as it went on.
The first half was frantic and we made mistakes but we played our way into it in a professional controlled manner dominating possession if not the game but in the second half by moving a few players around we dominated both and by the sixtieth minute Liverpool were defending en masse deeper and deeper and whatever change Klopp made we took in our stride and nullyfied them, we really were just too good for them and but for a quality individual goal that really owed nothing to his teammates thay'd have never got the second. We outplayed Manchester United on Wednesday and we outplayed Liverpool for at least fifty minutes today and it is no longer raising our game to do it, we are doing it as a matter of course.
The other challengers won't be looking forward to playing us at the moment.

Sorry, I can't find your other post. Any links to those Salah comments?

They did bottle it. Game was won at HT, then team had risen to Hazard's BS on how they'd play out of their skins to purely stop us.

Which they hadn't done. We lost it(not the title, the game), through getting wound up. The cards record shows that.

We did not lose the game. We drew 2-2 - away at the Champions - in a game we were supposed to have bottled. Quite the opposite of bottling it, our players showed they had balls. That was the day our young players became men.

Just reading the match thread on RAWK and a lot of them are saying how they were dead on their feet, Spurs the better side, Salah saving them etc Never thought I’d see that in there but more surprised that people couldn’t see it here either. Great point and could have been a magnificent 3, not saying it was our best or anything like that but to go there and dominate in that second half gives us the momentum to fuck the Arsenal next week and get the teams above us in a state. Harry was a bit off but that’s cool, he’s been on so much he can have a month of off for me and I’d still love him to death.
I know a lot of them will say they were robbed and they weren't penalties and all sorts of other stuff but I'm sure many if not most Liverpool fans will be a bit surprised about how much we dominated them entirely for most of the game at their own ground

oh and bloody brilliant for Poch to assert we were much, much, much better than Liverpool today. Love that man. He knows when to be diplomatic and class and when to ram it down their throats for the confidence of the team and affirm the truth.

No, he may concede more goals without Toby, fair enough. But that doesn’t excuse bad decision making and technical errors he’s been making this year.
Oh I agree. I think his decision making is woeful to be honest. Threw it out to boxed in players a few times today in first half and got us in trouble. But with our defence full strength there'll be less cause for it to happen as often and even if he does the players will be better equipped to deal with it.

Great result today. And what never gets mentioned is that we’ve been without our first choice defense all season. Injury hit on multiple key players throughout. Even though most are coming back, they still need to integrate. Yet we still beat united and draw at Anfield. With Toby in there today, we probably would have won.

Just re-watching some of the highlights and hats off to Salah, he really is superb. He's not even that fast, his control and the fact he stays on his feet, come summer they'll be fighting off some massive bids for him. That second goal was brilliant and all him.

Reckon a draw was the right result in the end - they had the first half, we had the second and i'm beyond glad that Kane finally got the 100 as the pressure was clearly on him. Perhaps he can resume normal service now and start putting them away whenever he wants again.

They don't strike me as a bunch with a strong group mentality if I'm honest.

Plus they have Henderson as a captain trying to gee them up and I know for certain I can't understand a word he says so I don't know how the players will.

No player says 'uninspiring' quite like 'Hendo'...

We "lost" the game, at a club without a permanent manager, one with nothing to play for, apart from fucking us up.

Those are the facts.

I'll just reference the Dembele 6 game ban and leave it at that.

Liverpool play drunk football. Makes for entertaining crazy games, though.

Lamela was indeed fouled on that play and was a stone wall penalty. Might have made a meal out of it but it was 100% a penalty. However, I cannot believe the lino called that. That took balls.

Yep, he says he supports Woking, but keeps getting accused of supporting Liverpool recently.
I thought he was a Man U fan. Seems to get sexually aroused everytime they play and brings them up in every commentary.
If he's a Liverpool fan he hides it well.
