I 100% get the hate. I used to admire Klopp greatly, but the last couple of years I've lost so much respect for him. For me, the thing that makes it so easy to dislike him now, is how much he has changed as he has got more successful. He used to be such a counter-force to the cynicism within world football, both on and off the pitch; he often spoke so eloquently about the game and was full of praise both for his own and others.100%. I don't get the hate for Klopp or Liverpool at all. They are top 6 rivals and I would have loved to see us beat them on their patch yesterday, but he's an extremely good manager, despite some of his annoying rants and selective memory/viewing. A few of their fans can be knobs of course but that applies to us too and all clubs.
People who say they hate Klopp/Liverpool more than Arsenal/Chelsea are 1. Talking nonsense 2. Are probably just really anti Northerners in general. Most Scousers speak pretty favourably of our club compared to the vitriol and hate/ living rent free in their head situation we get from fans of other London clubs .....
Sure, he has always been hot-headed and passionate, but his habits of pointing fingers at others, losing sight of objectivity, and picking fights have got so much worse. And that has happened while he has coached one of the best teams in Europe, winning both the PL and CL. One would expect him to develop a more dignified personality in that position, but instead he is straight up nasty to all but those in his corner.
Edit: Hate is a very strong word though. I wouldn't go that far.
