As weird as it sounds Adebayor has only given most of the team and excuse to not use their brain and hoof the ball up to the big man. We've profited from it but it only temporarily papers over some cracks.

Did u see the effort of him few minutes before break ye the dug out -- took him about 40 secs walking into picture and we ones with ball --- sell the fuckin lot --- van gaal not the man either for this shower of shit !! Tim doesn't deserve the job, too many times under him these slow starts have costed us so much. You can blame our new signings, or Lennon and his beard, or perhaps Siggy and Bentaleb not knowing who is to defend and who is to attack. But simply put time after time we appear to go into games with no game plan. I've said it before, but its as if we start so slow so Tim can shout at the second half and get a reaction to win games.

We need experience, and a full new back line at that.
