Lloris - did he actually say this?

We've been lucky to keep him this long.

He'll have been here four years at the peak of his career, and he's good enough to play for any team in the world.

Agree, it's a case of: qualify for the CL and show we can be contenders or let him go to the highest bidder - It's the same as it was with Bale, I knew he was gone the moment the final whistle went in his last game when we finished 5th and was surprised some fans had a hard time accepting it. It's a short career which they need to get the maximum out of, both financially and in terms of achievements. I think Lloris is generally happy here but another season of Europa league football will leave him unfulfilled I think.

He speaks of "une évolution" a single change, not multiple changes, and I think he's referring only to him possibly changing clubs.

"mais il n'y a pas eu les mouvements souhaités" probably needs to be translated by someone bilingual for a completely accurate translation.

So he's gone if anyone big comes in for him. But we knew that already

(And yes the proper quotes say that too)

Don't see anything wrong with what he has said, in fact I think if de Gea had left Lloris would be a Man Utd player right now

I disagree, I think Levy would have actually held firm on this one. At least for this season.

Plus the deal for De gea going to Real was done so late wouldn't have been possible for them to try and get Lloris.

A decent man and a good goalkeeper but i expect him to leave us come the summer unless something dramatic occurs.
He probably wants top four and to win things currently we cant offer that and so would respect his decision to leave, if that was the case.

Think levy would sooner sell to psg for less than to manure.

I guess he does hold some affection for the club but its a short career and i doubt he has the time to see Daniels prophesy come to pass.
In fact by the time that prophesy works out if ever George jetson will be me neighbour.

He's a big name player for us. But should he leave, which I'm not advocating, we'll get circa £20m - which can then be used to get another decent keeper with a bit left over. He's not great with the ball at his feet & has let some sloppy goals over time

20m? Manu have just deliberately thrown away 29m on De Gea.. at least 35 for Lloris.

Bad translation, he said he could've move if others did too (De Gea) but it didn't happen.

feel ok with Hugo's comments - if he leaves next summer it will break the Buffon record guaranteed

We all know Hugo goes in the summer.
It's the fact that he is intelligent and articulate enough to answer these questions whilst showing us great respect that mean it won't be a melodrama
