This is good News No doubt but I cant help feeling that if We were to finish 7/8/9th or even No top four which is likely he will be off.
These deals are about players getting a big pay rise plus with a longer contract levy gets more money for him like bale etc so whilst its good he wont be here for five years as he will want to Win stuff.

I agree it gives us a bit of time and yes we cant achieve anything without keeping our best players but my main concern is none of these will sit around for five or six years waiting for something that might develop.
Football moves to fast and teams just leave you behind.

And therein lies the frustration of being a Spurs fan! We get some quality players over time but can never sort it out on the pitch long enough for them to want to stay. That's why the right manager is key to success.
