as we signed brad for two seasons it is apparent that a long term successor will be needed.

watching wolves play wigan at present and the wigan keeper has been world class despite conceding 3 goals to date. he was also excellent when we played them.

So i was wondering who people see as the long term successor to Brad assuming Gomes goes.

I am as yet undecided but al habsi if he keeps thois level up will be in with a shout

are you for real? have you watched the whole game? he has made a couple of fantastic saves but he is shocking! 4 times he has parried the ball straight out in front of him when he could have easily caught it/gathered the ball in! His first half performance was embaressing

Swansea keeper Vorm (?) Has been great whenever I've seen him, admittedly mostly highlights on tv! Ruddy at Norwich too

Vorm or Krul for me if we're looking at current Prem keepers. Newcastle have a very high opinion of themselves though, so not sure if Krul would be out of our reach?

yeah i saw. His saves in the second half were outstanding - particularly from the header but his catching and inability to gather in shots was awful. The commentators were saying they couldnt believe it was the same keeper!

We ve had an excellent shot stopper in the past who has been poor on crosses and spills too many shots i believe..............

see what you mean. the third goal he should have held it not push it out as it was straight at him and not much pace.

How has Michael Rensing developed? I remember reading quite some time ago that he was one to watch for the future.
