I definitely think a 'gap year' idea would be a winner. For one year only, allow someone high in the queue to take your ticket to fulfill their needs while also adding to their points. At the end of the year, you get your seat back, they get a year of football they wouldn't previously have got and haven't lost out on any membership points. If you don't want the seat back after a season then they've settled in already. Might seem a bit of an odd idea but I've been a regular Spurs goer ever since I got my first paypacket as a teen and it'd be nice just for one year not to dent my salary now I'm in my mid-thirties.
So what you are suggesting as a season ticket holder you should be able to take something similar to a career break in the workplace a 'Season Ticket Break' ?? Dont most season ticket holders do that anyway & just loan out their passes when they dont go ??
