I can see the John Terry case saving Suarez.

They can't make an example out of one and not the other and Terry is 'Mr England' 'Captain Fantastic' in the FA's eyes.

I could really do without Suarez getting banned until after the Christmas period. I've got limited transfers on fantasy football and the guy bl00dy well owes me some goals!

This, it saddens me to say, will probably be very close to the truth

Could be today, could be tomorrow, could be next week! They just said earliest a decision could be made is Tuesday.

Swap him anyway, hes crap atm. Against Villa he thought he'd hit every ball that came at him tweny feet into the air and make others struggle for possession.

I think they will delay until the police make a decision with terry and just copy that decision, like kendall said one will not be found guilty and the other banned

How serious is it compared to a missed drugs test?

For me, this is a 6-month ban at a minimum. If the FA are serious about this Kick Racism Out of Football campaign, this is a must.

However, I can see the FA giving them a 6-game ban instead.

The context of the incident should dictate the length of punishment. If he has just been calling Evra things to wind him up he should get a season- long ban.

if the FA are serious about the "show racism the red card" campaign then they must set a big precedent. They have an opportunity here to make a show of 2 big name players - if they dont then the whole campaign will be a farce. If found guilty I hope both players are banned for 10 games each.
