From what i am told liverpool dont wana sell to an english team but would if the money was over £55mill.
Real madrid have told liverpool they are intersted. Liverpool have told them to bid over £45mill.
So i mean by an auction they want to use the media and arsenal to drive up the price to over £45mill.

My oinons is RM will over £40mill first bid. And end up paying £45mill. If they bid.

The wont sign bale and suarez. And im confident bale is not leaving this summer!

I see, thanks.(y)

(Wasn't questioning your info before, just Real's business sense!)

Nah its kl :) i dont mind being questioned i sometimes dont explain things that well so i dont mind being asked :)

I would question RM business sence as well!! But dont forget this year is the last year theoretically they can spend over there means! Without selling a gd few expensive players!

I wouldnt bet! The shirt sales alone of neymar will be worth a small fortune!

On the field I'd be more inclined to agree with him. Suarez at Madrid makes much more sense me than Neymar at Barca, or even Bale at Madrid for that matter.

Wasnt for lunch and interview was it? Heard he likes a quick bite while working ;)

I'm sure he chewed his words carefully!

However, Suarez remains determined to find a way out of Anfield and admits even captain Steven Gerrard's pleas for him to stay cannot offset the lure of the Champions League, while also reiterating he would jump at the chance to go to Real Madrid.
"I'm still defending the Liverpool shirt and I will do so until the last minute," Suarez, who was left at home for last night's friendly against Valerenga in Norway because of injury and is unlikely to feature against Celtic in Dublin on Saturday, told Spanish newspaper Marca.
"My aim is to reach an agreement with the club in a friendly manner and I hope the clause we agreed a year ago is fulfilled. Up to now, it hasn't been.
"It's not that I want to or am desperate to leave, but I like things to be clear and a year ago I made my position to the club clear.
"Gerrard has a lot of history with Liverpool and his words are very important but everyone should understand that I need to play the Champions League to keep growing as a footballer.
"Now I have the chance, I want to take it.
"A Champions League team (Arsenal) is making a big effort to get me and one always wants to be where they feel comfortable.
"There were a lot of rumours (about Real) that were different to reality: Madrid never called me personally or Liverpool to try and negotiate.
"Every player aspires to reach the top and Real Madrid is among the most important clubs in the world. It would be very difficult to say no to Real Madrid."

Am I the only one who would find it hilarious if he did end up going to Madrid after Arsenal being the ones to unsettle him?

With the way Arsenal went public with everything (the clause, his desire to join them), and the 1£ addition to their bid, I do not think Liverpool will sell to them. Arsenal has shown a true lack of class in all of this. They could have kept everything quiet, but they have opened the flood-gates to the media and every other club. Though that may now be what Suarez's camp wanted, knowledge that he can be bought for a certain price range. But, I would expect Liverpool to sell to just about anyone before Arsenal now. If we sold Bale and came in at £45m, I would expect them to sell to us before Arsenal at £50m.

How did they go public about it? I don't remember reading anything from them confirming it

Annoying as they will be the biggest threat if they continue to invest aside from Arsenal.

Perfect scenario was Madrid getting him

Toney Meola over here on SiriusXM FC over here mentioned tonight that Arsenal had a 62mil bid rejected by Liverpool today - probably BS - but funny if that did happen.

Just above 62 million USD, or 40m sterling. Same bid, new spin.
