It's pretty funny how after everyone from referees and Sky to opposition managers and players did everything they could to make sure Leicester kept winning last season, now they've all had their five minute fairy story Leicester have been dumped back on the irrelevant pile

How well did we do in Champs League? Lets not gloat!

Jesus Christ.

Click-fucking-bait. He's not saying our title collapse was funny, he's saying it was funny that they had all planned a big celebration and when we were 2-0 up they were thinking "well, what was the point?" before Hazard happened and they could have a little laugh that maybe it wasn't so pointless after all. The aggressive hatred of Leicester is weird on here. Thought it would end after last season when it was justified (normal in a tight, heated competition in which it was clear no one wanted us to win) but it's spilled over into this season when I thought they'd go back to being irrelevant to us considering they're nowhere near us.

I agree with everything you say apart from the bold bit. They have slung disabled slurs at Kane since his loan and spent all of last season trying to make a rival out of us. If they are that desperate for attention then if a Spurs fan gives it in a hateful way they've only got themselves to blame. Same as that Jay bloke on that West Ham fan channel with his mocking of Kane in the same fashion after we beat them this season. If you are going to act like a bell piece then you deserve whatever comes back at you.

Leicester are such an irrelevance, it's pretty sad how our fans get worked up over them.

We may have been 2nd for a significant number of weeks, but as we were never less than 5 points behind Leicester I do wonder just how much of a 'title challenge' we realistically mounted.

We waited and waited and waited for Leicester to stall, but it just never happened. If we'd beaten West Brom & Chelsea then perhaps it would have affected Leicester towards the end of the campaign, but to be honest there seems to be very little evidence to suggest they were about to implode even if we had won those two games.

we had no chance the moment huth scored the header. that was the game

It's not gonna be as funny as the champions getting relegated...

Leicester are no where near being "comfortable" in the league table.

I'm going to be pissed off if they do get relegated. I seriously considered putting money on them going down after last season, and didn't bother think it would never happen.

Don't even know what the odds would have been.

Footballers are supposed to set an example for kids getting into football, being gracious in victory for example, it's half the problem with today's game is the lack of respect from players towards officials and more importantly towards supporters.

Mahrez might not see the obvious but without supporters from every single team paying to watch games football would not exist, he wouldn't be getting a pay packet.

It's one thing to think something is funny or even as a paying suppporter to share these sentiments, it's another for a professional footballer to share these sentiments because when he does he is finding joy in the misery of the very people who make the sport he gets paid to play relevant in the first place, it's not just laughing at another teams misery it's also laughing at the supporters.

Ultimately I just find it classless myself, if our players did it I would be embarrassed, that's one thing I like about Poch though, he leads with respect and professionalism, I think he would be annoyed if this was one of our players saying this.
How is being honest setting a bad example to kids? Get a grip!. At least Mahrez wasn't being a hypocrite if that is how he felt. I too would find it funny if it wasn't for Spurs.

Seriously?

Can we stop expecting footballers to be like politicians and phrase everything is such a neutral way that they are bland beyond belief.

If a similar situation happened and we went onto win the league I'd have no problem with one of our players enjoying it or finding it funny.
In fairness he probably wants to take the heat off how poor Leicester are in the league this season.

This sort of comment is petty but ultimately harmless. What should be criticised is the sort of bollox that Jack Wil**** spouts as it actively stokes tribal attitudes and increases the chances of violence.

Honestly if Arsenal didn't have a tendency to sign absolute tosspots like Fabregas, wojciech szczesny, Pires etc then I wouldn't have any strong feelings toward them either way.

Don't let it get you down, don't get mad get even. Maybe we can hit them with a body blow to their survival hopes at the end of April and then go on to pip Chelsea for the title, that'll do nicely.
