According to David Ornstein (bbc sport) Sakho's representatives claim that we are one of 4 clubs to have expressed an interest in signing him, along with Barca, Milan and Arsenal. Fee would be 12m euros.

this guy was an absolute ROCK on Football Manager 2008. the cornerstone of my all-conquering THFC side in our golden age of 2008-2017.

£10m transfer fee is fair enough, but I don't think anyone will pay him £100k a week

Exciting players will cost sometimes, but I agree that 100k a week is a bit over the top. We have other options which would be good as well.

Laurent Blanc was one of the best CBs I have ever seen at reading the game, up there with Franco Baresi and Marcel Desailly.

If Blanc isn't prepared to do the deal to keep the PSG supporting Sakho at mega-rich PSG, then that's a big red flag to me.

Sakho is a good player, but perhaps not as good as the salary he's demanding...
