Man City are offering Raheem Sterling AND Gabriel Jesus to Tottenham in a bid to land Harry Kane. The Premier League champions are so desperate to beat neighbours United and Euro conquerors Chelsea to the England skipper that they will let both stars go in part-exchange.

Given Pepe would rather play with no striker than with Jesus, no.

" Hey Raheem, Gabriel, you know how we are winning everything and beating everyone comprehensively and you're on a gazillion pound a week for the privilege"

"Yeah it's great boss, loving live"

"Well how would you like to go to Spurs who haven't won anything for 13 years and won't pay you any where near as much?"

Sterling scored the winner

The Tottenham Hotspur stadium (unless Levy has managed to find someone to stick their logo on it 3 years after opening it) went mad

Damn, you have found the flaw in the plan.

This is why we absolutely cannot let Kane leave. He’s invaluable to us — we have no pull at the moment to land elite players.

To be fair I could see both Jesus and Sterling being a good fit for a Pochettino Spurs post-Kane. Especially, Jesus.

...but these player-swaps rarely happen for a reason. This is just clickbait stuff.

It's almost certainly bullshit but I'll entertain it. Whilst on paper Sterling would be an excellent addition (never really rated Jesus), I'm always wary of signing players on the downward trajectory of their career. That slope can suddenly become very steep. You'd have to question the motivation levels too. Jesus might have a bit more to prove there. But yeah, isn't happening.
