Do you think players like Messi and Ronaldo etc will shout and scream like little bitches in the tunnel to try and win a game, or are they so confident they KNOW they are going to rip you a new one ?

No, Ronaldo only shouts and screams like a little bitch if an opposition player comes within 6 yards of him.

Shouting or no shouting is not really the point is it, its about being a leader and showing leadership. We all know what a great leader Kompany is on the pitch and this video just strengthens how vital he is for City both on and off the pitch. Something we need more of in our club, leaders.

The player who has had the most positive influence on our team that I can remember was King and he was probably the quietest player in the tunnel or on the pitch.

as @CheeseGromit has said, the shouting and geeing up is only for the benefit of the person. Other than the crazy gang (who could and did back it up) against Liverpool in the cup final, it doesn't work. Bale was basically assaulted by Adam 3 or 4 times on the pitch but was never scared of him, so what do you think a bit of shouting will do?

Being calm and collected is great for the individual and exactly what you need in combative sports like Boxing and MMA.

But in a team environment, I think you need a good mix. If you look at Barcelona, one of the most successful teams of the modern era, they have had players who you would consider to be composed and in control, like Iniesta and Xavi, but they also need to have players that channel the aggression of the players, a driving force, like Puyol and Mascherano. Real Madrid also, now, have a healthy mix, with calm players like Modric and Kroos and Casillas and the more vocal and aggressive types like Rams and Pepe (border line psycho).

As with anything in competitive sport it is always going to be about balance. You need players that will lead by example and you also need players who will give their team mates hell if they are not performing.

I look at our team and I think we lack real aggression, even from the likes of Capoue and Kaboul.

What pisses me off is the joking and smiling from the spurs players after the game

I felt sorry for Soldado this year, last year Negredo, Navas and Silva pinned him up against the wall and were hugging him. Now he just had Silva
