Gave me a chuckle.

Poster on Red Cafe refers to Ange.
"Spurs would be 4th with 3 points today. One of the more overperforming managers this season and obviously in the running if ETH is relieved of his job."

Decent result, good performance. To go behind so early could have been curtains but we dictated the game.

Three takeaways:
1. corners were a lot better
2. We are still lacking some creativity in the final third (unsurprising with that midfield and three direct runners upfront, with no Maddison, Son or Deki). Still created a couple of openings though
3. Little concerned that we concede a lot of panicky goals - someone puts in a block but it’s at 80% and the ball squirms free, that sort of thing. Hopefully in time we can just sharpen that up

We are going to have a very exciting end to the season, and, with the run of the green, and if results go our way, there’s no reason why we aren’t in with a shout of winning the league. There. I’ve said it.

Fuck, I have never seen us dominate Manure at Dilapidated Trafford like this and for so much before! With only half a side? WHAT IS GOING ON?? 😱

I’m still disappointed we didn’t win to be honest.

We played well and dominated but it just never seemed like we wanted to go for their throats at any stage. It was almost like we viewed them as the old dominant Man Utd and so were happy to take a point.

I thought after we made it 2-2 we might have gone on to score a few more but the game was pretty drab in the end with both keepers not having to do much at all.

i know we have absences but Utd are awful and were there for the taking. You just know that if the roles were reversed, United (or any other top4 side) would have won that.

Feels like a missed opportunity.

Maybe I’m being too harsh but I do come out of that game feeling disappointment more than anything.
Comfortably the better team almost throughout. Absolutely no doubt in my mind that had Son and/or Maddison been playing we win that game with something to spare.

But on the other hand they could easily have won it with that free McTominay header in the final minute of stoppage time, so on balance happy with a point

Exactly, we were comfortably the better team throughout but we didn’t back that up with a win. I’d be more ok with it if we had a load of chances and just couldn’t score but it just felt like we didn’t really create anything and a lot of the time didn’t show any urgency to create anything. Hard to do without any creative players available I know but I just think we let them off the hook still.

If we include McTominay's header we have to include Romero's header that hit the bar, It was technically closer

Honestly think we should have won but got the impression in the last 10 mins the illness from the last week might well have played a part. We seemed to run out a bit at the end and didn't really push hard for the winner. The short break couldn't come at a better time.

You know it's 3.5 years since we won 6-1 there? 🤔

Not sure I totally agree.

Maybe Johnson could have been more aggressive but we had no players who are able to really penetrate and get in between the lines to make something happen.

Our best chances came from winning the ball in good areas or getting around the United defence and set pieces.

When we beat them at home we found loads of joy in front of their defence.

Maddison made that happen.

Didnt even have Deki today.

Draw was a fair result , for all the posession second half we really didn’t go for the jugular , Johnson ( who I am a fan of ) was very timid , we never really gave Richarlison any service and their keeper didn’t really have a save to make of any note after our second , I’ll take the point but all 3 were very gettable if we wanted them .

Any draw away from home is a decent result. Yes I feel we just edged it but not too disappointed especially with the players missing.

Unbeaten run keeps going and a nice rest now for the squad with a number gaining fitness and coming back for the second half of the season.

We are a team clearly making progress but Man U seem to be going backwards. Not one of their midfielders is now up to the job except Fernandez. The whole of their defence wants upgrading. Is ETH the man for the job ? He seems to be a very poor judge of a player so I won't let him be in charge of the rebuild.

I thought we were out on our feet for the last 30 mins. Utd were'nt much better, but they were happy to bring on subs to freshen. Our first sub was, what, 85th minute?

Not sure if it’s been mentioned but watching the game on TV our fans were magnificent. The singing and support came across constantly and has been a feature of several games this season
