I bet we're away first game of the season.

The scum will get a gimme home game someone like Luton

We'll get a tricky away game like Newcastle away
Think Arse are dead certs to get Luton away first, just like they got Brentford in their first game in the PL. Friday night vibes.

One of the main issues I’ve seen people have with Ange, is his side’s performance in the Champions League.

Yes the results obviously weren’t good, but some of their performances were actually unbelievable.

Watch their first half performance against Real Madrid (who won the champions league outright that year), and tell me that it’s not an exciting performance!

And then to further cement how impressive this performance was, you have to take into account the disparity in standard of players for both teams.

Compare the two team sheets below and the players at their disposal.

I genuinely can’t wait to see what this man can achieve here with a higher standard of player, and a higher level of competition to hone himself in.

Reo Hatate looks very good. I wonder if he could play as a creative 8/ 10 role for us.

I'm feeling happy about Spurs for the first time in what feels like forever.

But, everything I've read says that he takes a while to get his teams to click so we are going to have some very dodgy results in the first season and will need to show the faith.

We have seen enough of Lo Celso to know he's rubbish. One goal in 53 games from attacking midfield. The curled shots that are all 3 feet wide of the left post. We have to move on from him and the other players given ample opportunity but found wanting.

Nah, his whole career has proven he clearly isn't "rubbish", he just had some indifferent months at Spurs (after a strong start).

You're also conveniently ignoring his 7 goals in 19 European appearances and the fact that's he's scored 9 goals for Spurs in total.

He's obviously not done great but is capable of a lot more, and could perfectly fit Ange's system - it's effectively how he played his entire time at Betis.

He caught my eye during the cup final on Saturday, never heard of him or Kyogo before but they’re impressive. Big jump across but other Japanese players have done it in recent times.
