Just 3 points behind third placed Aston Villa, and just six points behind leaders Liverpool who play a day later than us. We can move within three or four points of the top of the league with a win tomorrow.

I’m not saying I think we’ll win the league, but the idea we have nothing to lose at home to Bournemouth is absurd.

We had a bad night the other night, but it’s hardly time to start writing off our season as if we have nothing left to play for.
I think we'll win the league.

I’ve seen a lot of football shows spend time yesterday dissecting our performance at Brighton and members of the football illuminati such as Geoff Shreeves questioning whether the number of goals we’re conceding is an inherent flaw in Ange’s tactics.

I decided to get the old blackboard out and do my own deep dive and I think I’ve worked out why we’re crap at the back:

Don't forget the poor squad management by Levy leaving us thin in key areas.

It's difficult, if Ange has started Dorrington or Phillips against Brighton and we were trailing 4-0 would everyone have been saying they were not ready and Ange has now dented their confidence? There is no right answer, Brighton have bloodied teenagers this season but I would argue are tracking behind where they were last season but like us they have a huge number of injuries; Pep and Kloop blood youngster but alongside world class players (or more than we have)

It's one thing to filter youngsters in when they're surrounded by our best players to carry them through. It's something very different to chuck them in the deep end in the middle of a crisis. I do think they could have been given some easy minutes earlier in the season though which was a wasted opportunity.

Anyone know what set Ange off on the sidelines? He's usually so removed from stuff like that but today looked like he was going to lay the smack down on someone lmao

They have cameras on him all game. They cut to him just standing around doing nothing when the ball is in play, yet when something interesting finally happens we get nothing.

I can only think one of their coaches said something about Veliz.

Bournemouth's coaching staff took issue with Ange and GLC asking Veliz to go down to get treatment

Simply incredible. With the players we have had missing this season, to be 3 points off first place is miraculous.

This is the new Tottenham, yes we will concede chances but my word will we create them. Today we probably should have scored 6 goals, we missed 3 very clear chances.

I love our style of football. Just spent the last 30 mins on the phone to my brother talking about it. We never did that under Conte or Mourinho.

Levy, give Ange the keys to the safe, he is the one.

People been saying all season that Postecoglou needs to compromise his style in certain games. This was the only time I agreed because of that weather. Ball held up a lot on that drenched pitch. Was painful to watch. But we did enough on the day and fair play to them all. Fantastic 3 points.

We rode our luck but 3 points are on the board and with Royal at CB again. Considering the players we've had out its amazing points haul in the first half of the season and only 2 games we've failed to entertain and all in his first 19 games with us. Love the guy and now we need Levy to back him in January and the summer.

Love the result love Ange and here’s to a very exciting 2024.

Id like to know if these injuries are because of the style of play and training or our medical team need improving or we just need better luck and also we need a deeper squad but give Ange what he needs and we are building something really special.
