Can't believe some of you gave him just a better than passing grade. Just on the job for just 2 months and he had signed for us young players of massive potentials and talents. Moving out players have always been a pitfall for us and the rebuild is long overdue yet he has still manage to do that quite substantially in just 2 months. 2 months!

A complete facelift is never possible in one window but we can't deny that the look of the squad has already markedly evolved from the ones we have seen in the last 4-6 years.

No strikers and playmaker coming in is my biggest concern but there are alot of factors into play for that and discussions on such will never end until the next window comes again. But my point is he's definitely deserved a grade of at least 8 out 10 - 8.5 for being able to work within the micro-managing and meddling Levy as well as losing so much sleep.

think Paratici has done a very good job considering what he walked into...the next two windows will be the interesting one for me, that's when I expect the actual restructuring of the squad to take place...but like what he's done so far..

Neves will only have two years left on his contract next summer so we may be able to apply pressure into a sale.

However, United and City may come in for him too.

So true. That poster talked so much shite.

Imagine being that mental that you have to go online and create a whole world of bullshit. Not just little lies, a whole fucking back story and person.

Makes me laugh everytime. I think about it

Going back to Pochettino’s reign, he insisted on any player coming in being versatile, and Hitchen and his predecessors were remitted as such in their searches. Pochettino wanted a small squad but ended up with a bloated squad. Mourinho added to it as Levy and Hitchen failed to offload players well overdue their use by date.

Paratici has been given a precise remit by Levy and has delivered as much of it as he was able since arriving. He won’t stop now either. He will be scanning the one year contracts, the free releases etc for a quick start on availability and willingness to come in January or next summer.

Spurs still have versatility in abundance, particularly up front, with players able to play across the line and able to cover where gaps appear from injury or suspension.

He comes across so well: the passion is genuine and infectious, while he clearly has a long term vision for the squad. I get the feeling he's our best hope of breaking back into the top 4 - we simply can't compete with the fees and wages of City, United and Chelsea, so buying young and smart is the way to go.

The audio in the background sounds like he just pitched up in a cafe or a bus stop to chat with Milesy.. ?

Agree completely. Definitely love the bromance that has apparently formed with him and Hitchen, too.

Yep, Liverpool have shown it is possible without spending crazy oil money. Great recruitment and a great manager and it's possible.

According to this site (I don't know exactly how they come about these figures and they are estimates)
Estimated total salary:
20/21: £129,175,200
21/22: £78,735,200

That is an almost 40% total wage drop, which sounds a bit excessive.
Not really, I can’t imagine the players we brought in were on massive wages while we’ve got rid of Bale £300k, lamella £80k, Mousa £90k, Toby £150k, aurier £80k, together with the other loan players we had last year and Hart etc. That’s a huge cut in salary

Whilst I don't doubt that our wage bill has declined, I don't think the total figures are too reliable.

For example, it records us as paying Bale 600k per week. I do not believe that we would have been paying him anywhere near that amount. If we were paying even half of that (which is the max I can imagine us doing, which is still more than Kane's 200k) that takes around 15million off of that 20/21 amount.

Then for this year it doesn't have any values for Romero, Emerson, or Gil yet. I would guess that they would have a combined salary of about 150k, so add 7/8 million to this season's amount. Then Son's salary hasn't changed yet and he's surely earning closer to Kane's salary now, so add another 3 million say.

20/21 - 115m
21/22 - 90m
That is roughly a 20% drop which seems a more reasonable figure considering how successful we were at moving some of the older/higher earning squad players.

A good video from him today. The kind of content we should have from the club.

Yep, more videos of executives waiting in bus stops please.

Joking aside, totally agree, it’s nice to hear a positive vision about the club and what we want to do.
