Article taken with a huge pinch of salt, but if there is any truth in it, does this mean we're expecting an offer we can't refuse for Luka or GB? Or have we finally concluded that our strikers are such a waste of space that we'll play 4-6-0 next season.

Yeah, that's him... I think he played centrally in the first half and was largely marked or controlled out of the game, then switched to the left in the second half and got them back into it...

An obviously gifted player, who also looked like he had a bit of will-to-win (or, more appropriately in the Werder games, not go down with a whimper like half his team-mates:grin.

Maybe you are replying to someone else, Brett, so if you are please excuse me...but Bale tracks back to help out pretty well, on the whole, IMHO, don't know where you'd get that from:shrug: If you want to say that as a full-back his defensive work isn't good enough I could understand it (whether I agreed with it or not), but as a winger I think he does a good job i this aspect of his game.

I think he used to help out tremendously well, now he leaves Benny to it a lot of the time and just jogs back.
