the clubs in a mess and tbh the only solution is a takeover to freshen things up and give a bit of optimism because right now we look dead certs for relegation and no1 seems up for stopping it.

protest or no protest the result will be the same, we will be stuck in the relegation zone whether we win or lose. We need to start looking to the long-term stability of the club and a protest may well be the final nail in the current management teams coffin. Things need to change and they need to NOW!

Do you think it will help the players mentality that before the game starts there will be this demo??

I doubt the players' mentality and confidence could get any worse - they've just lost 6 of their opening 8 games, including Stoke and Hull

Fuck it! Let them protest all they want. In fact let's pick a player at random and publically execute him.

Might get a response from the team

People keep trying to wrap players up in cotton wool, thats why 3/4 of them are complete dopes who think the whole world loves them.

If they get affected by a demo against the board, they have to grow some cajones.

The fans who pay big bucks to watch them under perform are totally intitled to demostrate against the shocking summer transfer dealings if they want.

I personally don't think it will help at all if they do it (unless Levy has a time machine that is having the finishing touches added to it), but they are well within their rights to vent their frustrations.

True it's a free country and any old arsehole is entitled to spout shit, if these arseholes want to do it en-masse they are entitled but they will still be arsholes and they will still be spouting shit.

How exactly does it hurt?:roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll:

Anything which can possibly attribute greater pressure can only serve to hinder the club.

Hate spreads too easily and if this mentality filters through to the game, fans will go from being the 12th man to a detrimental party.

i agree Worcestersauce, to the people calling for a change of chairman you have very short memories or are too young to remember the debacle that was Irving Scholar we were almost bankrupt and turned into a supermarket. Levy has come in after Alan Sugar who secured our safety and turned us into a financially sound organisation. Yes he has made mistakes but so does everyone in all walks of life its just this is magnified by the press and the nature of the business. I would not want a change of chairman, new DOF or get rid of the idea yes, Ramos out still undecided.

I remember all that. I don't think Levy has done a bad job, he has made us financial secure, but football isn't played on Balance Sheets and Income Statements. I think his main fault is his persistence in trying to wrangle out every last penny from buyers (good for Spurs), the flipside though is he does the same for sellers (bad for Spurs). If the truth about Arshavin being £2m out, then those sort of policies are madness. Our wage structure stopped other players joining (if some reports are to be believed). I'm not saying pay massive wages for every player, but surely those rules can be bent for someone special.

He didn't do himself any favours with the whole reporting Liverpool and Man U, then backing down when they pay him the money he wants. It makes him and the club look very foolish.

However as much as it may not sound that way I think he has done a good job for the most part, but those little things can be the difference between success and failure. I don't think he should leave, just maybe review some of his policies.

Well if Levy wants to stay he has to make a very big decision very soon, a defeat on sunday and Ramos will need putting down and out of his misery like a racehorse with a broken leg after a nasty fall (OUCH).

Seriousley, this cannot go on any longer, it will get to the point where its either the management that goes or the board, those that want Levy to stay its an easy choice to make.

We should start a protest against the protests. Who's with me?

Protesters out. Real supporters in!

I'm not sure what it would achieve. It's hardley helped the sale of Newcastle.

Surely potential buyers would be put off by all the fans demostrating in the street?

I'm not saying im happy with the situation with the club but im just not sure what a demonstration will achieve.

I agree and that is why i said he has made mistakes and I am sure he is aware of it. I agree the whole Man Utd and Liverpool fiasco was laughable in teh end but he is trying to do what is right by the club. He could very easily go out and pay ridiculous wages over inflated transfer fees etc and then we woudl be in an even worst position.

As regards the transfers you refer to no one except the board at tottenham know for sure what happenend whether we were 2M out with teh purchase of Arshavin whether it was the wages that were the problem. However given that Comolli is the man charged with the finalising of the transfers it may well be that it is him that was responsible for the mistakes.

I think it's okay to happen once. Let Levy know that he and Comolli are blamed for this situation. Obviously nobody is leaving, but the fans should be allowed to voice their angst and worries. And DL/DC need to know that they are hated for their part in this. I believe they live in isolated little bubbles where their poop smells like Channel #5.

I can understand people who don't think it should be done, but when things are this bad, probably the only negative act is to not act.
