Thought Doc had a steady first half. Disappointed he got hooked when we changed formation. Kane was dropping too deep. Surprised we didn’t change the set up after 20 mins when Chelsea were dominating possession.
Chance missed, but 2-0 and we’ve got a slim hope of progressing.

Thought Doc had a steady first half.

He killed at least two counterattacks - because he couldn't play the ball with his left foot, and had to stop to pass with his right.

Now, its not his fault that Conte started him at LWB - but he was hurting the team in that position.

Lucas, Lloris and Gil are the only one's worthy of a positive mention.

Skippy not too bad. But the rest were awful.

Sanchez had a good game - Lukaku was in his pocket.

Lloris, Skipp and Moura also decent, the rest - WANK!

Lloris 7 - was another solid performance

Tanganga 2- pretty bad, out of depth
Sanchez 7-thought he delt with Lukaku well for majority of the match
Davis 5- meh

royal 5 - decent defending, abysmal on the ball
Doherty 4 - out of position but your typical donkey stuff

skipp 5- not ready for this level yet
holjberg - abysmal - can't even score him properly, would have to watch again and I won't

kane 5- bad no interest first half, much better application in the second
Lucas 5- moments
son 3- awful, can't trap a ball or pass let alone score right now , guess his trademark world class streak is over for a bit

Ndombele 2- the Doherty of midfield

Rest of the subs meh, one good moment from Gil.

Bit of a splash of cold water for the board hopefully, miles off elite CL level

Lloris for me for saving that late chip that wouldve put it out of reach.

Sanchez was decent, Davies, too. The midfielders were dominated in both formations.

I'll just mention the shit.
Emerson-Needs to go
Tanganga- Needs to go.
Doherty- Needs to go.
Hojbjerg- Not good enough. Was piss poor and so slow its untrue. Skipp should replace him
Son- Obviously suffering from Covid. Well off the pace and needs to be rested.
Kane- Frustrating and dropping so deep. Lloris kicked it out near the end and Kane was standing 3 yds in front of him. Stay up the bloody pitch! I think he's finished at Spurs I really do. Bloody hope not obviously but looks a shadow of his former self.
Lo Celso- Fuckin brain dead. Needs to go.
Ndombele- Just fuck off.

Meh, the only bonus is that we looked very slightly better in the second half, and that Gio and Gil got a few minutes in their legs.

Apart from that, probably best forgotten about.

For me easily GIL ;) .... he took on his man skillfully, got past him and got in a good pass / cross into the box (can you believe a Spurs player could manage that!!!)... that was the only highlight of the game for me  ;)

We are an unmanageable club.

Conte looks like Jose did - utterly bewildered at how poor his players are. He's giving no explanation for the loss except "it was difficult".

Yeah Lloris, Sanchez and Davies did ok.

But Doherty, Ndombele and, I'm sad to say, Hojbjerg and Tanganga all look utterly pointless.

The first two are a disaster and I don't understand why they are anywhere near the team.

Conte must be wondering if he's bitten off more than he can chew.

Wouldn't go that far, think it looks likely we make at least 6th this season which is par. Not bad for coming in during the season without any signings for his system.

Just the top 3 have moved so far ahead of us in such a short space of time, been a 3/4 year disaster at board level, and recruitment
