spurs playing their lucky mura away formations, with strictly right sided sanchez playing central and then left cb roles, leading to chaos again. The game was lost from the start.

to be fair, we looked better after taking off RB doherty in the second half, who was playing LB.

I think motm is lloris for keeping the score down, with a third rate defence in front of him.
Where's this Romero, I've heard so much about?

I find it difficult to single anyone out for being good but perhaps the last shit? Sanchez or Hugo or Kane.

That little run and cut-back by Bryan was literally the only time I leant forward all match, so for that alone he gets MOTM.

The others range between D0herty and Llori5.

None deserved.

I don't think you can play Skipp and PEH. We need a ball winner and a deep-lying playmaker type player. We really should be playing TN or GLC with Skipp or PEH.

Davies and Davinson both had very steady games Skipp again did well in difficult circumstances - always going to be difficult once you gift them a goal poor mistake by Tanga for the first goal and once you give a good side a start your up against it second goal partly unlucky and partly a bad header

shame we never nicked one at the end need to score early in the home match then you never know

You’d have to give MOTM to Sanchez, especially having to play next to poor old Tanganga all night

Thought Moura was our ‘best’ player first half but was much quieter 2nd half

PEH very disappointing, in a real slump atm
Sonny very disappointing
Skippy really good again

Lloris 7 not at fault for the goals and some good saves

Tanganga 3 one of the worst CB spurs performances I can remember
Sanchez 7 MOTM being outjumped by lukaku aside and one rash challenge, Marshalled him very well and was our defence
Davies 6 not much of note

Emerson 5 I've finally accepted he offers nothing going forward
Doherty 5 out of position but terrible

Hojbjerg 5 tried to play the ball more than normal but just not good enough with it
Skipp 6 I'm a skeptic but he's showing promise

Moura 6 actually looked like one of our quality players but minimal impact
Kane 6 a good amount of heart and effort with the limited service but didn't influence the game enough
Son 4 in the team on reputation only at the moment

Subs
Ndombele 5 didn't really add anything which is an instant -1 with his lack of defensive work
Winks 6 Meh
Gil 7
Lo Celso 6

The only positive I can take from this match is that we only have to play them twice more this month.

Chelsea didn’t really look like scoring tbf. They were gifted two goals.

I thought Skipp looked really good again, couldn't really understand him being taken off and Pierre staying on.

He killed at least two counterattacks - because he couldn't play the ball with his left foot, and had to stop to pass with his right.

Now, its not his fault that Conte started him at LWB - but he was hurting the team in that position.
He would have done exactly the same if he was playing on the right.

I thought Mount who is of similar age ran him ragged in all honesty. In his defence, the whole midfield was dysfunctional so difficult for him to gain any real traction.

Not sure about the surprise/disappointment on display here . Conte could not have made it plainer in his pressers . We are very far away from the teams competing at the top he said clearly ....and we need to 'improve the quality of the squad'

Conte's eyes are only on winning the big trophies. That's what he does . When he gets his budget from Levy he will know that Spurs are not going to be winning any in his usual 2 year management span . We need to prepare ourselves for Conte going sour imo.

On the match...N'Dombele (3) seems to have regressed , no skills on display at all . Tanganga nightmare (3) Gil (7) beat his man...this is so new for us , did I imagine it ? . Skippy (6) keeps battling.

The disappointing thing is we realise and Conte too that no amount of work is going to make this team into winners .
That's where we find ourselves this morning .
