Its almost a tipping point now . Ever since Poch we accepted that the managers could be to blame...but that concept has reached a full stop . Everyone now knows the prob is the team . Levy has nowhere to hide . When Conte demands expensive player X be bought...Levy will have reached a key moment .

Didnt learn anything that we didnt already know about the following at the very top level:-
Hugo, Skipp, Kane & Sonny are mainstays of the team;
Emerson, Sanchez, Tanganga, Davies, Hobjerg, Winks, Gil and Lucas are adequate squad players for now;
Doherty and Tanguy probably need to be moved on for all concerned.

So weirdly enough, im not that pessimistic after the match as i think it highlighted that if we build a squad around the 4 at the top (plus Romero and possibly Dier) we should be good enough for the Top-4 and a trophy next season.

Voted Skipp purely because I was mad he was taken off and because he's one of the very few I wouldn't sell after that performance.

Poor to allow that Lukaku header.

Really poor.
That was his one really poor moment which unfortunately is a bit of a Sanchez trademark. He just gets a bit stationary and caught watching the ball but he got exposed on it by one of the best. To be fair to him he played well the rest of the game and it’s quite a different role to the wide centre back

A couple of things were very apparent regarding our squad.

Really missed Dier's leadership in back as there appeared to be a lack of communication. DS was good in battles with Lukaku (the one incident aside) but his is a complimentary CB instead of a leader. Need a leader in the center of the 3.

Skipp / PEH cannot play together against better teams as PEH does not haver the food speed / quickness to cover the ground required.

This system is crying out for some offensive WBs. We continually get them in space and very little end product is produced.

I think, right now, we need to play a 3-5-2 against the better teams to get a grip on the match. I actually think Winks and Skipp should play but. for the life of me, cannot see who we have that offers what we need for the 3rd CM.

I thought Mount who is of similar age ran him ragged in all honesty. In his defence, the whole midfield was dysfunctional so difficult for him to gain any real traction.

2.5 years older, probably 3 more years first team experience and a Champion's League winner.

But similar.
