Have to give it to Kane, but credit where it’s due - Hojbjerg, Winks, Romero, Sess, Doherty also particularly good today. Kulu & Sonny too. Good all round, against the right opponents too!

Kane no doubt, but voted for Sess for his best outing so far in our colours. Hope he gets the confidence and improve for the rest of the season.

Lloris - 6 - Would have got a 7 (with not a lot to do) but for a calamitous error second half. He then compounded the error by trying to handle it. I'd rather they scored than we went down to 10 men (which would have happened had he handled it). 10 men with a back up keeper and 25 mins to go and Leeds have a chance. Very naive play.
Doherty - 8 - Very good, defended well, and very good going forward, icluding a well taken goal, and unlucky not to get a 2nd. Has to be first choice RWB over Royal.
Romero - 8 - Lost his man a couple of times on set pieces but very good on the ball and very solid.
Dier - 8 - Organises us. Calm and good distribution throughout.
Davies - 8 - One major mistake at the end stopped him getting a 9. A great tackle to save a goal and strong distribution.
Sessegnon - 8 - Like Doherty looked very good at both ends. Good crosses, got an assist and unlucky not to get at least one goal. Best LWB performance of the season.
Højbjerg - 8 - Won so much ball. Also a fantastoc pass for Kane's goal.
Winks - 8 - Best performance from him for a long time. Tidy on the ball and wordked hard throughout. Always available.
Kulusevski - 8.5 - Very good first 10 mins (was on for a 10) but dropped off a little after that. Great goal and very intelligent play throughout. Easily first choice as RWF.
Son - 8.5 - Grew into the game and scored a fantastic goal. Couple of really good runs as well. Works so hard.
Kane - 9 - MOM - World class finish. World class assist. And so much more in between.

Royal - 7 - Should have shot.
Bergwijn - 8 - Looked livley.
Scarlett - n/a - Not enough time to touch the ball much.

Conte - 9 - Great tactics. Timely subs.

Lots of good performances. Kane is the obvious MOM but given his talent it doesn't come as a surprise.

Doherty on the other hand, had his best game in a Spurs shirt. Great runs, scored a goal (should have had 2) and an assist for Kulu. So I want him to take the spotlight as he deserves it after all the criticism he's had since joining.

OK, going to be controversial, possibly.

I've been going to spurs since '82 and an ST holder since' 88, my favourite ever player is Hoddle by a country mile, greatest passer of the ball, no doubt.... until now.

I honestly believe, that Kane is so very close to Hoddle now. His vision and passing, especially with the speed of the modern game, is quite frankly extraordinary.

Passing wise, Hoddle vs Kane is becoming a very, very close fought battle.

Another Hurrikane performance

Only has to wait another 6 months to see If we can bring in 1 or 2 more decent players for him, and us!

I'll give it to Doherty only because I have tons of respect for a player that will still give it his all, persevere, and who clearly cares a lot about his team and his own performances even in an extended period where nothing seems to be going right for him, fans give him constant abuse, and he probably even wonders himself whether he is just out of his depth.

Obviously kane was phenomenal, but ill give it to a player I've been hugely critical of this year - PEH. Thought he was fantastic. Everyone played fairly well but a special mention to Doherty for his first genuinely good performance for the club, he should be starting RWB from now on.

Kane will rightly get it as he was phenomenal throughout, but massive shout outs for basically everyone else. Not a single poor performance. The desire to keep a clean sheet even at 4-0 up and somewhat taking liberties was impressive. Dier the organiser is so important in this system to get the best out of the other 2.

Carry that intensity and hunger into Boro game please.

Kane stand out again just like against City, can we just play City & Leeds all season they give you plenty of space to play unlike the likes of Burnley.

Sessegnon did well again. Good at City, good again today

Nice to see him getting a run of games injury free. Looks much stronger and has definitely improved defensively

Good signs for him, long may it continue

Blimey!

I think that time can cloud our judgment.

Kanes passing is fantastic but Hoddles was even better in an age when you could tackle and the pitches weren’t like billiard tables

+ you can ping the balls easier today too!

Play the game, Glenda was born the king of WHL for a reason

Funny, isn’t it? I thought we would have to watch him mature defensively but would be pretty good offensively. Turns out, that he is further advanced with the former, and has a lot of improving to do for the latter.

It is so easy to see and comprehend what Conte means by Sess will be as good as he believes. As even while he was solid today, you still sense that if there was thing as a confidence barometer, his is at 60%. He has all the physical attributes and raw talent to be as good as an Ashley Cole. But the mentality aspect of his game will ultimately define how far he goes. His knock against the post was somewhat symbolic of where his head is at… if he had slid in, focused only on the ball, wanting it more than anyone else, he scores and maybe clatters into the post. Instead he pulled up, jarred his knee, and did himself a mischief all by avoiding hitting the post, which he did anyway. The kid just needs to firstly believe, then go full throttle on the field. If he can do that, he can end up being a very good LWB.

As for everyone else today. I’m not going to go over the top, as I thought Leeds were atrocious and have zero confidence at the moment. And even less luck. The fact is; they should have scored, at least twice. We made a few poor mistakes that fortunately were not punished. I thought both Davies and Romero were 6s today. Both had some good bits and bad bits. Dier was the best of the 3 by some distance.

Winks was better than PEH today. The latter had a better second half. Aside from his lovely assist in the first half, I thought he looked leggy and was caught ball watching a few times too many. Winks stuck to his task. Had one or two Winksy moments, but all in all, he did well.

Doc. Had one of his better games from us. Was switched on, and positive from min one. It was striking how different it was when Royal came on and played RWB. Thought he was terrible. Doherty deserves a run of games, I feel.

The attacking front 3 were all very good. Especially Kane. Glad Sonny scored. Felt he needed that. His shooting boots have been a little off recently. As for Kulu… the kid will be extremely good. Been so impressed with his commitment and decision making. Plus he seems to have adjusted quickly to the pace and physicality of the PL.

Conte pretty much just played his same set up and same tactics. Which was always going to cause problems for Leeds, and the way they play. The real test for Conte is going to be when we next play the Burnley types again. He has to start approaching those games differently. As we have seen three losses recently against teams we should be beating, and they’ve all kinda beat us the same way.

You say you can ping the balls easier now, but....

The balls today are much lighter, easier for pinging maybe but I think harder to control the flight.

Winks may have been very good on the ball, but Højbjerg was a monster at winning it back.
