I’ve watched the last 20 twice, the last 2 mins 10 times and Hoijberg was immense in the last 20, as good as he’s played for us. A Roy Keane type performance, he was everywhere but also composed.

I think re Winks Hojberg and Skipp, I don't get and don't like the criticism they take
For sure pre Conte I'd given up on Winks, but he's turned it around
The other two have always been good or better

I feel like Kane in the post-match interview; I cannot stop smiling.

What a fucking finish!

Now, the man of the match was Harry Kane. He worked tirelessly at both ends of the pitch, scored a brilliant goal, played an inch perfect pass for the winner (and missed a million chances), but…

I have to give MOM to Bergwijn. I might not have the chance to do so again, and scoring two goals in such fashion to win us the game, I can’t give it to anyone else.

I want to credit Doherty for being more aggressive with his runs, playing more forward passes, and generally playing to his strengths. Far better than Royal tonight.
?? Slot, you saved me the trouble of having to type any comments! (y)

For me, this is why we keep Bergwijn. He has pace and when he is confident he does today, like he did when he first joined.

We were superb first half, I couldn't believe Leicester took the lead.

I wasnt happy with the selection but 2 attackers and 8 defensive players somehow created loads of chances.

Bergwijn and Kane MoM.

Conte was superb today.

Stevie B's easily gonna win the poll and totally deserved....

Although i gave my vote to PEH, thought he was immense all game. passion, spirit, energy, ran his socks off, worked relentlessly, ball retention, key blocks, key passes, for that display over 97 mins , start to finish, plus hes been getting a whole load of stick, some unjust imo hence gave my vote to him.

Bergs, kane the stand outs. But kudos to doc and winks. Both made a difference. And, did the things we wanted well (doc actually bombing on, winks, hitting incisive passes forward)
Eso after the flatness in cups of late, great to see!

We were told that Conte improves players. Winks. Doherty. Dier. Davies. Sanchez.

Now add Bergwijn. What was it, 18 months of the yips in front of goal? Plenty of responsible team play, but apparently an allergy to making a difference in a football match.

Two or three weeks ago, Conte said he could see Bergwijn as a central striker. Oh how people guffawed.

Oh.

It would be interesting to see what Conte could do with Adama Traore.

Wing backs are not defensive players. This is a central misunderstanding. We played with three defenders, one defensive midfielder, one controlling/passing midfielder and one midfielder given licence to advance: Skipp.

Conte obviously sees potential in Skipp beyond his role as a stopper and he is broadening his role in careful stages.

Thought that was a great team performance all round away at Leicester. Thoroughly deserved victory, which we got in the end. Kane was outstanding; great to see his energy levels and confidence returning.

Stevie B was a man on a mission when he came on. I was actually worried he may get sent off with the intensity he was showing. Then a minute later, he channels Lucas vs. Ajax levels of self-belief and inspiration to drive us to victory.

Thought we controlled the midfield for most of the game; Conte got the setup right, we just didn't take the numerous chances we were creating.

All of this happened without Dier/Romero at the back, and without Sonny. Plenty of encouraging signs all round re what Conte's doing with this team.

Kudos To Stevie, he was awesome but I went for Kane, he was written off just a few weeks ago, he was incredible tonight.
And his celebrations at the end of the game, we got our Harry back.

Must mention Davinson Sanchez martialing that defence. I feel he had an excellent game.
That was a bizarre system we were playing at times.
a 1-3-4-2 with sanchez having a free role to go from one side to the other - where ever he fancied and snuff out trouble. It suited him well.
This formation gave us 2 out and out wingers and put us on the front foot all game.
Full credit to conte - 10
Bergwijn motm.

Could we say we've found a new way of playing though? You'd have to factor in that leicester were really rusty, didn't have vardy who would have made more use of that space and for all the chances, it was a game we could/should have lost! Certainly something interesting was going on.

What an impact Berwijn had coming off the bench! Something we have lacked for a while.
Here in America they’d give MOM to Stevie B because he scored the winner. Whilst his cameo was game changing doing that would be doing a disservice to Kane who worked his socks off for the whole 97 minutes, scored a goal (he could easily had a hat trick) and set up the winner with a superb pass. That’s easily his best performance since peak Poch days.
Lots of good performances all through the team with PEH, Winks, Davies and Doherty standouts. Doherty looked like the player we thought we bought. Always seemed strange that Mourinho bought him but played him in a back 4 which never suited him.
Don’t know what was up with Emerson? It wasn’t so much he was bad in the first half it was that he was invisible. Most of the time I forgot he was on the pitch.
Looking more and more like a Conte team. I can’t remember the last time we dominated a team like we did for long periods of this game.
