Kane my MOTM but we would not have won that game without him and Romera

Kane was MOTM - simply world class.

Dier was just so good - defensively robust

Kulu was very very good - defensivekly helped Emerson but also chased lost causes down.

Lloris - 7 - some great saves in second half after mistake for their first
Emerson - 7 - good in second half after a shaky first
Romero - 9 - outstanding defender
Dier - 8 - makes a huge difference to have him back
Davies - 8 - kept concentration well and some vital clearances
Sessegnon - 6 - worked hard but seems to lack some self-belief still
Bentancur - 7 - struggled with the pace of it a little but clearly has the technical goods
Hojbjerg - 8 - some wayward passing but we need his and/or Skipp’s aggression
Kulusevski - 9 - goal and assist and overall incredible workrate
Kane - 10 - an absolute centre-forward masterclass, near faultless
Son - 8 - two assists and worked so hard to help Sessegnon

Kane but huge honourable mentions for Romero and Dier. They could be our Cheilini and Bonnuci going forward. Absolute rock solid.

This vote should result in one of the most lopsided polls since SC’s inception.

Kane’s performance was 10/10.

Heroics aside by some players, what also impressed me was Hojbjerg and Bentancur’s never say die attitude. They were both guilty of giving the ball away and losing possession in dangerous situations but they never let their heads drop, kept on working their arses off and battling away to protect our central defence. For once we actually looked like we had a shield in front of the back 3.

Voted for Kane who was immense and could have easily had a hat trick but Kulusevski was superb. He scored one had an assist and worked tirelessly helping out Enerson in defense as well as bombing forward to support Kane and Son. A great work ethic.
I think Bentancur finally found out how intense the PL can be. He got caught on the ball numerous times. A good lesson for him.
Romero and Dier at the back were excellent and Romero was unlucky with the penalty. I don’t think there was a lot he could do with it. Although it’s always been hard to discern they don’t seem to care anymore whether it’s intentional or not. Just because your arm is moving it does mean it wasn’t ball to hand.

Nothing he could do about the pen, ball flying directly towards the face from that distance forces an instinctive reaction of the hand..

Lloris - 7: mistake for their first but some excellent saves; we know he’s one of the best shot-stoppers in the world still

Royal - 7: offered little threat but thought he defended very well. Wasn’t rash, but wasn’t afraid to be robust
Romero - 9: excellent
Dier - 9: excellent
Davies - 8: looks so much more assured with Dier next to him
Sessegnon - 6: put a shift in but not much came off, would have to watch the game again though

Bentancur - 7: ball nicked off him a few times but adapting to a new league and pace; excellent shift
PEH - 8: did the dirty work, got through so much tonight and was exceptional in the second half

Kulu - 9: yes please
Son - 8: looked threatening on the counter
Kane - 10: didn’t put a foot wrong and grabbed the win for us. Supreme performance. Should have had a hat trick.

Lucas - N/A
Doherty and Sanchez - 10, because I’m elated.
