That's right, although it's not so clear if the 30% is the agent or someone else. It's listed as owned by a company

Don't agree at all, koscielny is the fastest defender in the prem bar none and has matured into a real ball winner who's also good in the air and brilliant at blocks and interceptions, would suit our system down to the ground and I hope this new fella if he signs has all the same attributes.

Can't agree with that after seeing Kaboul caught out time and again today, buddy. And Dawson is no quicker.

Too early on Dier. Was great today but is very young hasn't been really tested yet. Kaboul was average and made poor decisions. A fully focused Vertongan with the Argie would probably be first choice.

I can't believe after 1 good game people don't want to sign MM because of Dier. Also, only about 30 mins was at CB, the rest was at RB. One thing the West Ham game showed was that we need a new CB, Kaboul was shocking.

I'll be honest, never seen MM play live. All I can go by is reputation, price quoted, clips and opinions of others.

What I do know is that as like the majority of last season, we are a mess at the back. Clinging on to hope that Kaboul will return to his former self of 3 years ago, or that 20 year old Dier in a new league can play week in week out, or even playing Dawson won't help this.

We need a brand new cb to partner Jan, a top quality cb. From what I've read, heard and the small parts I've seen this guy fits the bill. With not long to go in the market I don't see too many other options popping up.

I fear for our defence and I don't want to see us get trounced again! Let's please get this done!

exactly, its not doom mongering its just being cautious when our defence hasn't really improved from season where we shipped 5 or 6 goals on more than one occasion

I'd be quite happy to lose Kaboul as well and have Dier as part of the 4 cbs tbh. Haven't been convinced for a while now.
