He openly stated that he could never manage Barca due to his love for Espanol. Whilst Im sure h would be swayed by an offer by Real he is such an honourable man that he would never prostitute himself by going to a direct rival like Chelscum.
Newspaper click rubbish, forget it.
But at the same time it should put a rocket up Levys arse to back him to the hilt otherwise he will go. Maybe not this season but soon after followed swiftly by Kane Eriksen Dele, and we will be playing to crowds of 25000 in a 60000 mausoleum.

Not going to lie I’m a little bit worried here, I do think his latest comments were telling and we’ve been here before all be it with players.

I remember the beginning of the summer Bale left started like this with everyone saying no way... he’s on the cover of Fifa .... he’s on the billboard.

Just feels like we’ve been here before and this story doesn’t end well. Hope I’m wrong obviously

Course now this is in turn being fed by the Sun’s media mouthpiece Talkshite. Brazil trying to play the possibility down but asking everyone etc. You know Jim White will focus on it too.

This is just you (and others) being paranoid. Just because it's US on the end of it it's agenda. The only agenda is people on SC claiming there's an agenda. I don't know what people expect? Immunity from the bullshit? The media shouldn't make drivel up where we're concerned because why? You don't like it? They do this all the time, if it isn't us, its someone else. Is there an agenda against those clubs too? And if anyone says there isn't then this has gotten even more pathetic and self pitying than I thought.

People actually search this shit out, post it on SC and wail, agenda, agendaaaaaaaa. It just isn't. Because people don't read stories about other clubs and pretty much all that gets posted in here are Spurs stories people think that's all the media write about :D

It's not agenda, it's just the latest load of bollocks and how dare they, how fucking dare they do that to us, Spurs, the pride of North London. What utter ****s, go do it to another club, we're not having it, it's premeditated agenda.
Since Sunday afternoon I have heard we'll be hard pressed to do business in this window. We will lose our best players in some cases to pay off the stadium. The manager will move on (quite often) and so forth ...

This after finishing third and top three for the third straight season. This after playing at Wembley for the year in which we were meant in most corners of the media written/spoken we weren't meant to make it into the top four ...

I'm not big on tin foil hat shit, and for the most part I tend to agree with what you have written but in the last 48 to 72 hours the negative has far out weighed the positive in regard to Tottenham Hotspur football club and personally it's grinding on me a bit.

You’re right but they shouldn’t be allowed to peddle this complete nonsense without repercussions. Whatever club the are talking about.

I think this is also why people were pissed at Poch’s comments after the game the other day. They knew that the media would twist them and run stories like this. By the manager saying what he did, he was either naive to give them the ammo or knew exactly what he was doing.

Either way, it’s annoying.

Edit: it’s not to say it isn’t complete rubbish. Chelsea might want him, but they might also want 5 other managers. Levy is hardly going to answer the phone to them though.

Poch has no press conference this week to deny it so this is perfect for the press to attempt to unsettle.

I would hope the club and Poch will consider what their response will be. Kill it immediately please.

Taking our manager who never makes subs until the 75th minute, has poor in-game management and doesn’t pick the starting XI that I know is the right one? Yes please!

Quote from a site elsewhere....

“Sky Sports do mention Maurizio Sarri, the Napoli coach, in their article on Pochettino.
Sarri remains the most likely candidate to take over from Antonio Conte at Chelsea.
On Monday, rumours in Italy suggested that Carlo Ancelotti had agreed to take over at Napoli for the start of next season.”

I know where my money would be...

If anything I'm the opposite. It's because I've seen it all before. They literally have nothing else to write about until Southgate names his England squad tomorrow and then the papers can moan because their idols Rooney and Wilshere aren't in the squad. (AKA the start of destabilising the england squad prior to a major tournament).

Poch has given them the ammo too. So as soon as he uttered what he did on Sunday, these stories could be seen a mile off I am afraid.

I think the Chelski link is fantastic news. All the ITK coming out is that Levy and Lewis are going to back Poch with the transfer funds he needs. This is just going to reinforce this in my opinion.
