Everyone knows they will be having a fire sale this summer.

It won’t be as bad as this season.

But yeah, it will be interesting to see how Poch deals with a bigger squad.
Fire sales in this market aren't easy to do , as we keep finding out.

Europe has no money and even English clubs matching Chelsea wages isn't easy

I pray it doesn't happen still, but Poch will simply do what he did here. Move the ego's out, enable the younger players to play freely, create a galvanised and positive squad, and this time be given the financial clout to do his annual "software update" analogy that he couldn't do here. And it'll work.

He'll be dead to me, but it'll happen.

João Felix and Enzo Fernandez in a Poch team? Sickening.

Fair comment but that also applies when taking any notice of Kane's comments.
It only works both ways if you believe the rumours to be true.

Surely the most sensible thing to do would be to put more faith in what a player actually says and less in what some stranger on the internet says he might have said.

Will Felix still be there? He’s on loan I think and will likely return to Athletico Madrid if Simeone moves on…

The Brazil FA president said Ancelotti is the first choice for the new national team manager so I wonder and hope that blocks this Chelsea move for Pochh. Who knows how Perez will react if Real Madrid are knocked out of the Champions League by Man City because we know he has always been a fan of Poch and wanted him in the past. And we know Poch has always wanted to go there one day. There really hasn't been any development or new news about Poch to Chelsea since last week and the club are not mathematically safe from relegation yet.

Depends on how much power he's given there. Can easily see Chelsea owner forcing Poch to have expensive status names involved, which would lead to another PSG situation for him and probably be doomed from the start. If they give him full power and their fans don't work against him then he'll do very well. Remember Poch gave everyone a clean slate at Spurs, before he didn't allow Kaboul, Adebayor and Lennon even access to the training ground at the same time as the first team - to avoid their influence. A move like that comes with full support of the club.

I wonder what the hold up is. Maybe he found out they are losing all of mount, Kante and kovecic. That’s really going to gut their team.

Probably a few issues, making sure he didn’t sign up to manage in the championship, waiting to see what happens in Madrid, maybe waiting to see what happens here,
Maybe Chelsea are still interested in a few other candidates and it’s not as set in stone as we were lead to believe.

It does feel like he is holding out for something. But today the media feel the need to report on something daily, just like with our search, and there isn’t exactly a real rush, so things with him could just be progressing at a perfectly respectable rate for all involved. I think he’s making a big mistake going there though.

Id like to think this all just part of Levy’s plan to continue to hire ex Chelsea managers. When Poch is lead out to Stamford Bridge for photos, he rips of his shirt and underneath is a spurs shirt. Then he quits and signs for us.

I’ll probably be proved wrong though.

He actually, by all accounts, wanted to return - but not only did Levy not pick up the phone, he was willing to see him go to Chelsea instead

heartbroken 💔

every day I hate ENIC more and more.

So, I didn’t want him back when he was first linked. But to watch him go to Chelsea is like watching your ex Mrs get with another bloke in the pub you hate. You don’t want to see it but will be rubbed In Your face.

Worse thing is, he will be successful with chelsea and will win trophy’s we couldnt give him and our twat chairman will watch what happens when you back him and still be blinded and think it is someone else’s fault.

Said I didn’t want him back at the start but think I now wish we’d brought him home. As I think the fairytale return is now dead. Having said that, poch himself must know the ruffles this will cause with the chav rivalry. Maybe its an f u to levy…

I really do hope it goes terribly for him there, and I think it will. Even their young players are primadonnas, who won’t be shaped in his image. I’ll always be fond of him for what he did, and can’t believe we didn’t re-appoint him, but let’s hope he finishes what Potter started
