5 could still happen.

It's not like Manny was getting battered, he was winning the fight before BOOOM!

Too much money to be made for a fifth fight to be completely ignored.

Got to love both fighters really. All business, no over indulged egos, no sobbing or weeping from either after. All smiles after, PAC still chirpy after defeat, and such an emphatic ending too.

It certainly looks like Pacquiao wants a 5th.

I had marquez up 3-2 with manny winning the 6th before the punch.

I had Pacman winning by a couple at the time of the stoppage, and I had moolah on JMM to win on points ( he kind of ruined that bet for me! )

He was moving around a lot, being the aggressor but he was punching air a lot or marquez gloves. Marquez picked him off quite easily.

Great fight. Slight exaggeration from prime times commentary point if view labelling it fight of the year. The guerrero berto fight was better or even the cotton trout imo

Holy crap he got knocked out! Well that's a massive payday gone for Pacman and Mayweather.

On the contrary I think it's more likely to happen now that Mayweather has seen a man he easily beat knock Pacquiao out.

Anyway, it's old news, the fight should have happened 2 or 3 years ago when both men were at their peak.

That's what I mean, the payday for that fight is not going to be as big as it could have been a year ago.

The real time to have the fight between Manny and Mayweather was after Pacquiao beat De La Hoya, Hatton and Cotto. He was red hot at that time and people were genuinely questionning whether he was better than Mayweather.

Now I think most would be confident of a Mayweather victory.

But after the build-up it would still be a big money fight. Almost certainly the biggest boxing match that could be put on today.

I have been listening to Khan's new coach and he sounds very good and like the fact that he has a intelligent style of boxing, which unlike every boxer at the moment he was trying to make Khan not punch to hurt the guy but to control him and open better opportunities

That said roach said that both Khan and Manny werent 100% commited prior to their defeats and in the ring their natural styles came out more instead of what they should of been working on

Khan isn't an intelligent fighter. He has some fantastic natural tools to work with but will always revert to type which is why he is exciting to watch.

Molina was a gimme, something he needed to be fair. Easy for him to implement his 'new tactics' against sun standard opposition ( compared to what he has been fighting )

Gutted for Pacman, but you're right - he was just way too open. Think he got too cocky and didn't respect Marquez's power. :(

Its a shame he doesnt engage his brain much when he fights, otherwise he would be almost untouchable.. . He did seem to restrain himself a few times after Molina caught him (with the same punches Garcia was hitting him with with . . . ) which is a good sign, for what its worth I dont think he would/will have traded like that in a Garcia rematch. I thought he lost his cockyness with the new trainer, but it re-appeared post fight when he claimed he would've knocked Garcia out if he fought him tonight :/ . Apparently he could be fighting Josesito lopez next - great fighter to watch, he's going to give Khan a lot of problems, but this is very winnable and a name for Khan to get back on the championship hunt . .

Ricky Burns needs to stop ducking Adrien Broner btw, its embarrassing at this point, Broner said he'd fight him on a couple of days notice as Burns' fight fell through on sat . . And Burns opted to go for a tomato can in Jan instead . . . . The 140lb is looking like the hottest division at the moment: Khan, Garcia, Broner, Rios, Lopez, Burns, Matthyse, Judah (lol), JMM . . . . .

Did anyone catch Andre Ward on the sky broadcast yesterday? He comes across like a dick, he was accusing Froch of misleading the fans because he hasnt contacted Ward for a rematch. Well, Froch has stated his next fight will be Kessler, followed by the contractually agreed Bute rematch . . Ward is a tit.

Khan hasn't learned not to drop his back hand when he throws a jab. If he persists to keep his head up and drop that backhand he will always be liable to get knocked out.

Yeah. His team are going to have to be careful in match making for him

He will probably fight Garcia again next, and if they can't get him to stop dropping that hand I fear it will end the same way. I do hope that they have noticed it though (you would expect them to), but it has never improved so it makes me wonder.
