Hopefully Poch liked what he saw, if we are to have any chance of getting him first steps need to be made soon. Poch going to watch him does seem to speak for a lot tho.

He did the same during the MK Dons match, where at the time people thought he was scouting Welbeck, but apparently it was Dele Alli he was scouting the whole time.

I know this post is gonna get some hate from the Lamela fans but it could be argued that RWF is the weaker area. Depay would be nice however.

Would be a great signing. JJ has hinted he is the lad we really wanted for the last couple of windows so hopefully we can get a deal sorted

Imagine a front four of Kane (21), Depay (21), Eriksen (23) and Lamela (22)/Chadli (25), that is fantastic. Include the ages and its more than impressive.

He'd be awesome. Him and Lacazette would be the perfect offensive targets.

Questioned him last season when there was talk of a Chadli swap, didn't want that.

But if we could get him now that would be amazing.

As some have said our collection of attacking midfielders would be exceptional.

Eriksen
Lamela
Depay
Chadli
Alli
Pritchard
Townsend
Onomah.

Now we'd likely lose some of the above but bloody hell there is a bit of everything there .

I posted about him on COYS today. I think he's possible as we'd be a good stepping stone for him. Trix thinks bayern want him but Storts said:

"One of the top summer targets, will go all out for him I think"

I really hope he doesnt opt for Bayern, he wont get enough first team, it'll be a step in the wrong direction for sure.

Everyday I walk by the lotto booth and think to myself I'd like to win the first prize. Alas I never even win the $5 payout.

Would love him. I think he'd do a Hazard and tear shit up straight away for us. Would be gutted if we missed out on him to United! They have enough talent, they should try making a team out of it before they start stockpiling even more!

I have a feeling we'll see some earlier-than-usual ins this summer as Poch is not going to be hot about new players missing the entire preseason to get accustomed to the system. That, and if we're fighting Bayern, Utd, etc for players like Depay we better get a move on.

This makes me wonder though, depay is a left-footer and Poch likes inverted wingers so maybe wants to play deplay on the right?

I wouldn't myself as prefer Townsend on left as I would with depay.

If LVG is after him, we've no chance.
Not necessarily. LVG hasn't been the revelation they thought he would be at utd. He's too abrasive relative to the results he's producing and I think it's only a matter of time until they turn on him.

Haha got bad news then bubba, Depay is very much an inverted winger with a resounding right foot. If it's a traditional one you're hoping for, then it's Ayew you're hoping the rumors about were true.
