He got away from Swansea because he was about to become backup there as well. Did he really think he had a better chance against Lloris?

I thought you didn't trust/like journalists?
I don't like that majority and I definitely don't like a guy who has a twitter picture that Lyall Thomas has.

And as I said Vorms situation gives credibility to the Goal article. Had Vorm stuff not come out, I would still be doubting that article but as it seems it has been back-up by Vorms claim, I'm starting to somewhat believing it. But that's not the point my comment is making. My point is Poch is committing poor management by not letting players now why they aren't being played i.e. Vorms situation. Poor communication, and I'd expect better from our managers.

Strikes me as something that's written on his behalf?

It's on his personal twitter. He doesn't have to come out with it if he doesn't want to, particularly if he's serious about leaving and definitely wants to leave for first team football.

if as many people, myself included, think Hugo's going this won't be a problem. Him saying he's happy staying lends more credence to the idea that Hugo'll be off to me

Clearly a lot of fans don't rate Vorm as a number 2, so the question to those is who do you want as your back up keeper? De Gea? Neuer? Is there anyone good enough that'll happily sit on the bench for 40-50 matches per season?

Well De Gea could be available in the summer, let him get all the cup and champions league games! Should keep him happy!

Michel Vorm does not have the confidence of anyone in his defence, andcan you hardly blame them?!

I was in utter disbelief when Vorm stayed on his line from that corner which fizzed between himself and 3 palace players before narrowly going out for a goal kick.

He made no attempt whatsoever to narrow the angle and make it difficult for Martin Kelly to score either.

He makes a mistake every time he plays for us and we always get punished for it. He makes the basics of goalkeeping look very, very difficult.

He is a decent No 2, I think some people just expect 2 No 1s

Its hard to stay at the top of your game while you're warming the bench for most of the season. He'll be better for the hit out against Palace.

Yep.

How do you convince a top class goalkeeper, to come in when you have Hugo already at the club?

It could be worse, we could have Caballero. Vorm isn't really that bad, he just always seems to concede a soft goal. Kelly's one was maybe difficult to save, but poor positioning led to it.

He is good enough to be somebody else in the league's number 1, but if (lawd forbid) we sold Hugo, I wouldn't feel confident with him as ours.

As a back up keeper there aren't many if any better than him in the league(Look at Cabellero and Ospina).

What is your beef with him? He's not as good as Lloris? There is hardly anyone in the world that is so you will be disappointed if you think we're going to get an equal quality back up.

Vorm is good enough as backup. He was Swanseas first choice keeper for a couple of seasons while they were finishing top 10 and winning the league cup so I really don't think he is as bad as you suggest.

What? The man who was pretty much stayed glued to his line and failed to command his area? We play a high line so Vorms agility and speed is needed, not another Friedel.
