I know he doesn't like the Chicken Badge...but surely, he wouldn't give up his free time just to massacre and cook the little feathered buggers

Did he give you an extra hot-wing

Apparently he felt a little twinge in training so Joe gave him a couple of days off. He was just helping his mate out covering a shift. Said he wasn't going to get much sleep either as he was doing the early one too

What a top pro

Paraphrase it like that to justify the fact you don't wanna hear and don't like it but Matrix has no reason to lie at all.

Players aren't fans and we're in the food chain same as everyone else. Man Yoo are one of the biggest clubs in the world and he'd like to go there - so would most professional footballers, it's a no brainer.

However, he isn't Berba and he'll do as he's told like a good boy - expect him to be playing for Spurs next season.

I got hold of some info once when my cousin picked up Gus Poyet in his cab and like a fool I posted it on here - aside from the shit that followed my stupidity the amount of fuckwits on here who gave me shit (basically calling me a liar) was unbelievable. And you know why? Mainly because he said he thought Berba would leave (which he did). But people didn't wanna hear that so they attacked the messenger. Yeah it sounds odd but it's not as strange as you may think that Modric (or anyone else) would talk about their future etc.

It's not so much lying or telling the truth that is in issue but the value of the information. If a Man Utd fan approaches one or our players while they are out shopping and says "I'd love to see you at Old Trafford next season". They might respond to that in a friendly and informal way by saying something like "I hope so too". That is how conversations work. It is more likely in fact that you would respond like that than say "I am contracted to Tottenham Hotspur until 2016 so discussing playing for another club would be inappropriate".

But there are plenty who have not called him a liar, but have questioned the content of his post - you seem to be going the other way, and suggesting that anyone who doesn't just accept it at face value is a fuckwit giving Matrix shit.

People have choices of course, they can believe it or not or leave an open mind. The problem with the criticism (and this is how I saw it and felt it) is that rightly or wrongly you share info with people you think are interested and some (not all, or even most) shoot you down in flames - it's not nice or easy to take SP.

As an example my cuz was driving Gus to our new shirt unveiling at Tottenham Court Road. Within minutes of posting there were people saying this must be shit why would he need a cab from one end of Tottenham to the other - yes that's right they weren't Londoners and were ready to shoot me down in flames over their lack of geography (plus the Berba info). Now I should've thought before I posted and was a fuckwit for not doing so - the same applies to people such as I have described above.

I take your point - I don't think this info changes much but I do think he's being honest and was just excited to get some info good or bad.

I honestly just don't see what Matrix gets out of making up negative info and posting it. Positive yes as he may get some kudos for it. Maybe I'm being naive Jimbo.

I don't dispute the sentiments expressed, Luka probably would like to play for Man.Utd and double his wages.
What I doubt is that he would disclose all that info. in a casual conversation in a shop to two strangers.
Other than being polite and replying in non disputational fashion along the lines of

'Would you like to be at Man.Utd Luka?
'Oh yes that would be very nice'......moves away slightly.

'Any chance at the end of the season?
'Oh yes that would be good'.......edges further away with smile getting more strained.

He was ambushed by fans. What's he going to do, start a fight?

No. I agree with you. And that is why I went out of my way to tell Matrix I wasn't calling him a liar.
The problem was the way you worded your post, it sounded like anyone who had questioned his information was just aimlessly and thoughtlessly shooting him down in flames. That wasn't the case. Maybe you didn't mean it to come across like that, just the way I took it.

I can only tank dee Lawd I am not ITK

You learn from your mistakes and I certainly have.

There are certainly some smart arses who can comprehend stuff like this happens and are set on ridiculing anything that doesnt match up with their opinion on how the situation would play out in their heads.

Its just not a scenario of "hello Luka how are you?" With him replying with "I want to play for Man U" Other things are said over time, thats how conversations happen. If someone was to put every word said, word for word it becomes like a Police interrogation.
Players are not that bright and would let things slip dependant on the situation and the person they are talking to.
You would be quite surprised how forth coming players are with fans.
When I met Ibrahimovic he was quite quick to slag off Mancini after we talked about Inter and him being dropped to the bench. As long as its not press I dont think players care.

TBH I think that is a bit of a stereotype.
I suspect they represent a pretty broad spectrum of intellectual levels.

Although I don't want to, I believe you aren't making it up matrix. I've always felt he would go to United sooner or later. I think Luka just wants to win trophies, just hope come the summer we can convince him that he can do that at spurs.
We are still in the FA Cup.

Cheers for passing on mate. I don't actaully think ManU can afford him, but I do still think that he wants out. I braced myseld for this last summer, thinking he would give us one more season and then he's off, regardless of where we finish.

For all of the people saying that he should have got a photo with him or talked to him, I wouldn't of. But thats just me. I think these guys are just normal people trying to live a normal life, why shold we hound them and bombard them with questions. But as I say, thats just me.

Me and a few mates were on a golfing trip in Portugal, having breakfast in the hotel when in comes Figo with his Mrs a few of the lads went for a photo with Figo me and 2 pals had a photo with his Mrs much better looking.
Cheers for passing on what I am sure is a true story.
Modric and the Goon can go we will survive, I am a spurs fan not a players fan fuck them off to the highest bidder if they want to leave.

So this is probably going to be my one and only bit of ITK info ever.

Me and my good friend were in the Apple Store in Regent Street yesterday morning looking to buy a computer and to our surprise standing there on his own was little Luka! My friend being what he is (staunch UTD supporter) went straight up to him and started talking to him. Asked him about life at Spurs and what his plans were in the summer. This is where it gets a little interesting. My mate hadnt mentioned he supported Man U yet but Modders said hes hopeful something will happen in the summer in regards to United. This is all dependant on where we finish in the league and if we can keep our best players (i assume Bale VDV etc) who we buy and most importantly WHO the manager will be in the summer. Then my mate said he was a big Man U fan and would love to see him at Old Trafford to which Luka replied with I would love to play for Man United some day.

There you go!

I haven't read the whole 11 pages, so sorry if this has been asked before, but did you actually hear the conversation or was this what your Man U mate told you he said?
