If it is the incident I'm thinking of then yes it was a bad touch but there was also an element of timing about it that meant that Modric was moving forward when he recieved the ball causing it to bounce off of him.

But did you see his touch over on the left wing when the ball was fired in at him and he had inches to work in and he killed it dead?

I think there are still some people who don't REALLY understand just how good a player Modric is. He is as good as Bale, vdv or anybody else at the club (except Ledley who is of course a god and the world's best central defender). His technique, his vision etc is great, but that isn't what makes him so important to us.

It is his ability to move the ball with such intelligence, with such bravery and cleverness. He ALWAYS wants the ball, ALWAYS moving, ALWAYS has his head up looking for a team mate.

He is one of the best players of his type in the world. He could play for any team anywhere!

You forgot the part when he gave the ball away and then quickly fouled Eto'o and from the resultant free kick Sneijder almost scored a gaol but that was not in the compilation was it? Did you enjoy his "world class" performance against Bolton? I certainly did not. He kept getting dispossessed and creating problems for his own defenders with the shit back passes and poor positioning. Did he create anything at all? He is a ghost.

That is the second time this has happened, well it might have happened more but it has been "reported" back two times so far by the people who were on the receiving end, and in both cases I did not write a comment so the comment text field was left empty.

One thing about modric is his ability to recieve the ball facing in any direction and move it forward. His change of direction is awsome. Probably due to his small size and weight, and low centre of gravity. It shows up recently when he's started winning tackles by getting his body in between the ball and player. His ability to change direction quickly helps this.

Name one player in the whole of world football that NEVER has miss placed a pace, has NEVER miss controlled a pass at some point, and has NEVER had a bad game in his life, and i'll show you a liar.
For you to say Modric is shit based on a couple of iffy moments, is like me saying you're a total wanker for posting silly comments. I'm sure you're a lovely, well balanced human being.
