With Bale being the face/star of BT's new Premier League deal, and Bale being on the huge NBC Premier League banner in Times Square, we've all started to think they're fairly sure he's staying at Tottenham, well we can now add the Fifa 14 cover to that list!

Lets all do the happy dance! i'm very proud to see a Tottenham player on the cover to be honest :) and I know it's technically gaming but I am referring more to the culmination of all the marketing of Bale in the new Spurs strip all over the world pointing to hopefully good signs

Yeh I wasnt worried either, I always thought he'd stay, but it's still really nice to see a Spurs player be such a global icon, it's been a while :)

I was certain he'd stay this season. IF he is to go next summer, then let's do everything to give him a trophy at least. Might even entice him to stay.

As for the FIFA 14 cover, I am very happy. Will love seeing when I get it delivered day before release. Opening it to see Gareth Bale on the cover. :D

Now I can finally legitimately buy Fifa with no dirty scum players on front cover. But I face the dilemma of waiting for ps4... Ffs.

I wonder if HP knew about this before the shirt deal and if we'll make any more money out of the deal? They now have their logo on the front of the best selling game in the world, that has to be worth a fortune to them as a company.

Also, I like the thought of all the gooners who will be buying this and muttering under their breath about our "small time" club

We need to sign some players on the back of all this publicity, or even better, get Bale to sign a new contract.

When was the last time we had a player this famous?

The deal was in place to be on the front of FIFA first week of June. I don't know how that tallies with HP's signing date

Bale's only on the cover of the UK, Ireland, and Middle East editions though, the US edition features Messi and Danny-Welbeck-backup Chicharito. The US edition has previously featured such world-renowned players as Sascha Kliejstan.

Don't think anyone seriously thought we'd sell him this summer but it has Ben fun reading all the stories about him and they aren't finished yet

we are going to make a lot on 1. a transfer fee when he does leave one day 2. all of his marketing

Finally no arsenal or man united players and a spurs player! It shows despite not making the CL much we have come a long way from the dreary days. The kit looks class and two amazing left footed players!

Probably Edgar Davids, but this is so different since Bale has made his name in our club.

When I hear or read stories about our great players from the past, I sometimes almost feel a bit sad since I've never watched them play other than in old video clips. I'm so proud to watch Gareth Bale play for us now, and the fact that he will stay for atleast another year makes me smile. Not that I have had any doubts, but every little thing that confirms it more and more is appreciated. In 40 years I look forward to tell my grandkids about Gareth Bale, and it will be great to see their eyes when I show them clips of him playing his football for Tottenham Hotspur.

Cheers, no doubt Levy used that to our advantage then.

Yes it said that in the article but it is the best selling game in the world, UK/Ireland/Middle East sales will be massive! We're still talking millions of copies plus shop window displays etc.

FIFA 13 has sold 14.5 million copies worldwide. It sold a million in its first week in the UK and 353,000 in its first day in North America, to give you some form of equivalence (game stats are notoriously hard to come by)
