Nah not talking about Rafa. He is indeed a legend.

I was referring to a certain pointy shouty guy that I will always appreciate for what he did in his first spell at the club, but will never forget the complete bollocks he came out with about wanting to finish his career at White Hart Lane...before buggering off a few weeks later.

I get the impression that if Rafa ever felt like he needed/wanted to leave, he'd be p[rofessional but honest about it.

To be fair to Robbie, he did finish his career at White Hart Lane

Apparently Harry has an awful lot of time for Benni. He is always first to put himself forward for anything the club wants to do charity wise, or with local schools. He is very dedicated despite the myth that he doesnt like football.

It will be a sad day when players like Disco dont exist.

We salute you Benni, And Fuck You Hansen!

I am glad that others are beginning to appreciate Benny. I have been singing his praises but there always seemed to be an underlying negative feeling toward him, but am pleased with accolades on this thread, even from people who I did not expect to. Benny you are loved and you are ours!

Even when he was out with that lengthy injury several years ago (it now seems), when we had only seen him in a Spurs shirt for a few months, and some where saying he was rubbish and we should loan/sell him, I stated my opinion that he was a very good player.

You were hardly alone, there were others, too.

Hate to join the chorus line on the BAE love-fest (how things have changed...) but, yeah, he consistently shows himself well above the average idiot PL player, seems even well above the average in general, for his brains and insight. Coming from a fairly shit background, and coming out very clean, and furthermore with a clear perspective, he's really to be admired.

Cool bloke, one footballer I'd happily have a pint with!

Well, I'd have a pint, he'd have his carrot juice or whatever!

Both him and Luca seem to be of a similar temperament. I Just hope we can keep them both.

'It's just I don't drink. I have never drunk.'

you can't help but love this bloke for the way he conducts himself on and off the pitch. I wish some of the other lads would take a leaf out of his book!
