This is what being a Spurs fan is all about.
We probably have about a 10% chance of pulling this transfer off. And yet we all, myself included, try and find any teeny tiny shred of hope from every dubious source out there.
We all talk as if our whole season hinges on this transfer, and we all know how this story ends. Yet we hold on to that little bit of hope before the inevitable disappointment.

i think hes just united plans B or C, they were hustling for Schweinsteiger and now that its not gonna work, they'll grab MS. Only way he falls to spurs is if united grab schwein or equal and arsenal arent interested

Yep. Have said all a long he won't be their first choice. JJ being so non committal all along also makes sense. Its a potential sequence of events - if United get their preferred targets, MS camp may then give us the nod to start negotiating.
