Most boring Spurs team ever?

I know we have had worst teams in recent years. I remember when we almost got relegated when David Howells saved us at Oldham away. (Bad times!)

But there was always a shining light in the team, a bit of hope!

Im looking at our current crop and absolutely no player excites me.

We have sold our soul with the player sales in recent times and there is very little left.

It all feels very stale to me.

I miss Bale, VDV, Berbatov, Davids, Sheringham, Ginola, (Even Stephan Dalmat would of done something a bit different!)Klinmann, Gazza, Hoddle, Waddle, Ardiles,

Where is the magic our club was built on?!

We want our Tottenham back!

ENIC OUT!

Really?

I get excited at every Kick off. maybe its more hope than anything else but a special performance from Lamela and Eriksen is coming. I can feel it.

If we'd beaten Liverpool, none of this would have been said.

And we have Eriksen and Lamela.

And it's 3 games into the season.

And none of this has anything to do with ENIC IMO.

And you fucking annoy me.

Stop. Please. I beg you.

Most boring Spurs team ever?

Nope.

Next!

What was your most boring Spurs team? George Graham era? pretty bad. But we did have Ginola to enjoy.
Christian Gross was awful but it wasnt boring. Klinsmann scoring 4 away to Wimbledon was fun.

I thought we was shocking against West Ham.
Good against an awful QPR side.
Worst of the lot against Liverpool.

Sorry I annoy you. You dont have to read my threads!

Surely you would write this at the end of the season if we played more boring football. Yet you are writing it after 3 games and all of it is bullshit.

Bluemoon may be better for you.

To be fair to the OP, the last couple of seasons has been for me the most boring football that we've played (in my life time anyway). ENIC out though? Absolutely not. Maybe we should give the new manager more than 3 league games before we decide if we are boring or not this season.

So what, it's 3 games. You're judging a team after 3 games. I think it's only a matter of time until you're figured out, mate.

I get pretty much excited by our team everytime we go forward or start an attack, the fact I shit myself when the opposition gets the ball is all part of it for me.
I can't choose when to get excited, it just happens for me, and no matter how crap I feel when we lose, come kick off I'm ready once again.

I know the opposition were poor but go have a read through the QPR match thread then come back and honestly say that this is the most boring Spurs team ever.

Would say that last season around Oct-Nov (under AVB) was the most boring in my memory. we were winning games but it was all stale, boring, dominant, machine like football crushing teams through weight of possesion and waiting for them to make a mistake rather than forcing the issue.

True. It was really bad. Yet we havent improved on the quality of players.

Eriksen is by far the best player we have. Does he excite me? Not really. Where are the mavericks?! The players that will get you off your seat. The players you will pay money to just go an watch them? I dont see any.

What staggers me is that we've somehow assembled a squad that's totally unsuited to the Premiership (well, a top four challenge at least). No power, no pace: absolutely essential for the Premiership.

I had to double check the date of this topic. I think you're still stuck in the AVB era. The football under AVB was slow and predictable. Thank god we had Bale the season before last to give us something to shout about. Last season was deflating to say the least but this manager is perfect for us now. We're going to be pressing teams all over the pitch in time and attacking with pace. We saw a glimpse of it against a poor QPR but people are delusional if they expect that performance too often at this stage of the season. Patience is the key but a number of our fans simply have none.

@Jimbo78 Sorry mate but this is a complete joke.

You have used the opinion of the team being boring as an excuse, or even a smokescreen, to actually have a pop at Enic/Levy...something you have done repeatedly in a number of other threads recently, including the "Is Daniel Levy Holding Us Back" thread.

If you think the current squad is uninspiring then fine, no problem, post a new thread about it. But if what you actually want to use it as an opportunity to have a bash at Enic and post Enic Out then just use one the numerous existing threads on the subject like you have already done. We know how you feel so just stop being a fucking attention whore.

To be honest I'm beginning to wonder if you are even being genuine or whether you may just be a banned member back on a trolling mission of wummery.

Not that it matters because, either way, I would love for you to fuck off.
