I heard that Kane now has 45 goals in total for this calendar year

If this is indeed correct can he break into the top 10 all time list?

He’s got potentially 16 Tottenham games left this year plus maybe 1 or 2 for England?

The top ten reads as follows:

    Messi - 90 in 2012

    Mueller - 86 in 1972

    Chitalu - 81 in 1968

    Pele - 75 in 1958

    Deak - 66 in 1946

    Romario - 65 in 2000

    Groot - 64 - in 1961

    Dean - 63 in 1927

    Ronaldo - 61 in 2012

    Bican - 57 in 1943

    Meh.

Harry would get 100 goals for that Barcelona side in 2012 playing against pub teams in the Spanish league.

Apparently a lot of his goals were from corners.

    What's the PL record?

Edit: just googled it, record is Shearer with 36, Kane has 33.

If he gets the right kind of chances he could smash that record in the next two games. He's that good.

Could have had 4 yesterday, just coming back from injury with 5 in 7 games or something?

    He's actually overdue another hat-trick.

One hat-trick since June. He's had a rough second half to the season ;)

Although Shearer played 4 game more as the Premier League had 22 teams when he set the record.

Can see Kane to be on 50/yr for a good few years...not that crazy a thing to say now, but to have such a player playing for us, is.

Five players so far scored > or = 50 times this yr : Ronaldo, Messi, Lewandowski, Cavani, Kane.
