Too bloody right and I didn't need Danny Murphy to tell me what I already know. Having said that these do appear to be direct quotes so thank you very much for making it clear to Yanited Danny boy. ;)

I don't think he'll leave providing we meet all his aspirations. The challenge is more for the other ten in the first team to prove they're worthy of playing alongside him. If they could have done it before we just might still have Bale. The current side looks more unified and seems to be steadily improving, really hope that continues.

I don't think we were ever gonna keep Bale when Madrid came.

I'm not worried about Yanited, but if Madrid invoke "special relationship" clause 4 again, well that could be a different outcome

Agreed. He wasn't a Spurs fan as a kid. It wasn't his dream to play for us and as a result there was no emotional attachment.
Not to mention he could probably see we were going backwards.

Even though he was an Arsenal fan growing up......:(

The reports i read said that even while he was training with the goons as a 7 year old he always wanted to train in a Spurs shirt. Probably one of the reasons they released him.
