The thing is, if Ledley did indeed have an Arthritic Knee, this is not something that can be cured or managed to any suitable level for a Prem player.

so what would be the advantage in the club and Ledley himself saying that they expect him to be able to play twice a week again soon?

there is none, it would just be let down after let down until he eventually retired.

so with that in mind...:bs:

Newcastle collect injured players and if they can't buy any they get their fit ones to injure themselves. Its a club traddition. Def Keegan.

say that ledders does only have 12 games in him next season. why would we tell that to a potential buyer? surely we'd make a decision on whether we wanted to keep him or try to offload him and just say yes you can talk to him or no you can clear off based on that?

i can't believe that in response to an inquiry into the possibility of selling our captain we'd respond by telling the club, presumably a rival for european places next season, that he's crocked. surely that would be up to them to work out. what next? keegan is on blower with an offer for darren bent so we level with him and tell him save your money kev, he's shit?

Do you think the Club or the player himself should come out with 100% honesty and tell our supporters and wage-paying fans what is actually the problem. He is our club captain and after so long we should have a right to know.

Why do so many people come out with comments like...

''oh, another thread...''
''do you relly need to be in the know''

The point is, we have all come to the conclusion that he has arthritis without it ever being confirmed. I happen to know where the source came from, its the same source that won me and southlondonyiddo a very decent amount of money when this manager took over at the club he is at now when all bookies had stopped taking bets on someone else.

This is true ITK and not speculation so it puts all the rumours to bed.

By the way, none of your guesses are right......keep trying!

12 games? thats fine by me.. utd, arse, chavs, pool at home = 4

Fa cup semi + Final = 2

uefa semi + Final = 3

CC Semi + Finals = 3

total = 12 games. 12 wins, 3 cups and a 4th place.

For once i feel a bit uplifted by a KING ITK thread.

Can anyone confirm these disturbing rumours I keep reading on various football forums. . .

Is Ledley King's contract due to expire in the summer?

Im sure he signed a 4-year-contract in 2006.:-|

No way does his contract expire now, I'm almost 100 percent sure he's on our books until 2010.

Must be Grant. Since Chelsea has so many players, they can afford to spend 15 million on a player they hope would play 12 games for them.
