I must say tha yesterday I was impressed by Chadli, he is direct, tricky enough, has decent tekkers when it comes to crossing, a bit of pace, threat in the air. I've been gradually becoming more impressed with him-not a world beater, but a useful player.

I think Chadli has improved with each game since United at home. He offers us something different to the other wingers we have, with his height and strength. He's effectively a slightly silkier Dembele.

I'm really glad he's starting to impress in flashes, never nice to see a new signing crash and burn.

Haven't got the Chadli hate all season. He's looked good, yesterday was a very good cameo.

Chadli was awesome when he came on yesterday, quick, skillful and delivered a peach of a cross that Soldado was unlucky not to score from.

Chadli is still young but he can play off either wing, cross well with both feet, can score free kicks and when shooting from distance. He's not typically fast for a winger but he is skillful and strong.

He has the potential to be a brilliant player. I hope he stays and I hope our fans learn to get behind him instead of writing him off after a handful of appearances.

Fair play to Chadli, he made a really positive impact yesterday. In hindsight it was probably unfair of me to equate him with Paulinho in terms of footballing ability, no one deserves that.

Is it a coincidence that AVB leaves and Chadli looks like a player? I haven't read many people saying Chadli was shit, just that he seems competent but no more.

And up to now he has been. Its all very well saying he needs time to settle in but some players just need the freedom from constant over instruction to show their best. Chadli may be one of those players.

Or it could be that he knows he is possiblty playing for his future with a new manager on the horizon.

Such a shame Bobby couldn't put Chadli's fantastic ball away!

Or Ade when Chadli put him through 1on 1!

He definitely looked more comfortable playing a more direct style, his strength helps him overcome his lack of acceleration but he's no slouch when up to speed! Given Ade likes to move right it's nice to have someone who can offer some height who can switch in too.

If it so happens that Chadli and Lennon compete for the right flank, I would be happy; he looks more natural out there, in the EPL. I remember him being more left sided in the Eredivisie.

Would leave us needing competition for Townsend out left though-which is what I thought Chadli was brought in to be.

Said this earlier in the season - but he respects possession. He's not a head down merchant and will pick the wrong and right times to run at someone. Not like Townsend who gets it and sprints at his man every time (which in itself is nice to see).

I want to see Lamela get a crack from the start of a home league game, but after Sunday's outing for both of them, i'd be inclined to start Chadli on the right over Lamela.

Yeah it seems some of these stat sites need to sort themselves out.

But don't let facts get in the way of an otherwise excellent point.
But your arguments were based on these facts, facts that now turn out to be wrong. If the facts are wrong, what does that make your argument? I like Chadli by the way.

It was a joke, rather like my argument turned out to be. :D

He's still been pretty effective though. I also like him.
